The newly built beach promenade with playgrounds, sports facilities and several beaches is very attractive and has a high recreational value. Shopping can be done easily on foot. A few minutes away from the apartment, you can find the small original sandy bay. There is the beautiful plaza with benches in the shade. The village center by the sea is a good example of a typical fishing village with small harbor, bizarre lava formations and fishing boats at the small harbor, narrow streets.

Alcalá is also a nice vacation spot for divers, a diving school is on site. Apart from a hotel, there is little tourism in Alcala.
