Loved it. The only thing that I was not happy with is the bathroom with see-through doors and gaps. Everything else was great!

The hotel is in the perfect location in the middle of Cayala. There is so many shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hotel itself was very updated and clean. Bed was so comfortable, best sleep I got in Guatemala. Breakfast buffet was delicious, egg were made to order and there was fresh fruit, cheeses, potatoes, fresh bread, yogurt, etc. Would definitely recommend including it in your stay fare.

Recientemente me hospedé en el Marriott Cayala en Guatemala, un hotel que elegí con altas expectativas debido a su renombre y precio, esperando una experiencia de primera clase. Sin embargo, mi estancia estuvo marcada por varios inconvenientes que considero importantes compartir. Al llegar, noté la ausencia de personal de bienvenida para asistir con el equipaje, lo cual fue particularmente desafiante ya que viajaba con una mujer embarazada y varias maletas. Esta primera impresión me preocupó, especialmente considerando la importancia de la primera impresión en la hospitalidad. Durante el proceso de check-in, me enfrenté a una larga espera, aunque había llegado ligeramente antes de la hora de check-in. Aunque entiendo que esto puede ocurrir en momentos de alta ocupación, sugeriría que el hotel podría beneficiarse de un sistema más eficiente o de un área de espera más confortable para estos casos. A pesar de que la señorita que me atendió fue muy amable y profesional, mi preocupación por la seguridad de mi equipaje creció cuando, tras dejarlo en un lugar designado por el personal, lo encontré más tarde sin que nadie lo hubiera custodiado. Este aspecto es crucial, ya que los huéspedes necesitan sentirse seguros acerca de la protección de sus pertenencias. En cuanto a la habitación, aunque estaba limpia y ordenada, la comodidad de la cama dejó mucho que desear. La rigidez del colchón resultó en una noche de descanso menos que óptima, afectando mi experiencia​

Great hotel with plenty to do around. The infrastructure is a little off with the lobby being on the 6th floor and only one elevator going to the parking. The bathrooms don’t have doors so you can hear everything. The staff is incredibly nice, the ac is amazing and other getting annoyed at the logistics the stay was very good.

The hotel is located in a great area close to shopping and restaurants. The restrooms in the rooms do not really offer much privacy. The sliding doors are not long enough and there are large cracks in which you can easily see other guests doing their business in there. Parking was another issue, we were told there would be an attendant there to help us access the designated parking spaces for hotel, no where to be found. We had to park in visitors area a few times and had to pay for parking. Apparently hotel keys are not currently working with the garage sensors, very inconvenient. Other than that hotel was great and rooms were clean.

Sandy from the restaurant took care of me. She went above & beyond to talk to chef what foods chef recommend for me. I was diagnosed with celiac & gluten allergy so she really took care of talking to chef for recommendations. Thank you for everyone in the front desk. They are all so nice & they helped me sooo much.

The hotel is super simple for the high you pay and they keep charging me extra fees from what? I have no idea. I will never stay here again. Stuff was nice, not the hotel at all.
