Our stay was excellent, Very clean and spacious room with excellent shower room. Very good breakfast and incredibly helpful and polite staff.

El servicio y el hotel, de 10, pero en la penúltima noche en la habitación de al lado de dio un episodio continuado de violencia, gritos, golpes, amenazas de otra pareja, encima de madrugada, cuando el hotel no tiene a nadie en la recepción y los huéspedes estamos solos. No pudimos dormir en Nochevieja debido a esos episodios. Se llamó a la guardia civil que vino dos veces, pero conforme vino se fue. Tengo que decir que las recepcionistas de 10, excelentes. Pero la dirección nos ofreció sólo cambiarnos de habitación. Ante el panorama de la noche que se avecina con el hotel sólo, decidimos marcharnos a casa antes que afrontar otra noche con esos episodios de violencia, amenazas etc a grito pelado y golpes de la pareja de al lado. Perdimos la última noche que pagamos. La dirección prefirió premiar y mantener a la pareja conflictiva y perdernos a nosotros como clientes. Cómo he dicho, todo el personal del hotel y del restaurante, excepcional. Es una pena pero no volveremos más a dicho hotel, ya que viajamos regularmente a Guadix.

Stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Rooms are very spacious, staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfasts and an evening meal at El Búho was also very good. Would recommend

The only challenge we had was finding the place as google maps wanted up to drive up pedestrian stairs! But once we figured that out all was good. Lovely spot. Highly recommend

This is a superb hotel in an area that is outside of the beaten path, but it is worth every penny. Staff is very accommodating. Food is excellent including the buffet breakfast. Parking is plentiful, which is very unusual for the area. Highly recommended.

A beautiful quiet location, room was great, comfortable bed and lots of space. I recommend eating at the attached Taberna, delicious!

Stop on way to Seville

Lovely hotel, full of character and staff really friendly and helpful. El Refugio restaurant in main plaza really good, too. The troglodyte community in the town well worth a visit

The hotel is great however the heating is too high to a point where you have to open the windows in Winter and try to sleep with no cover whatsoever. Could we sleep comfortably? Nope because of the heating at night. I write the report with the hope they fix this inconvenience and I may come back since my family and I loved the hotel overall

Guadix finest

It was a very nicely appointed, modern hotel. The rooms and the bed for very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Much nicer than other hotels we have been staying in.

Passez votre chemin, chambres moches et sales

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec une vue sur la ville et un grand lit, nous avons eu une chambre sans vue à part sur un escalier, très sombre avec les murs sales et abimés, le ménage très sommaire et que dire des meubles ... tous abimés et dépareillés ! Bref une chambre horrible à part la literie qui était bonne !. La salle de douche pas très nette ! Bref où sont les 4 étoiles de cet hôtel ? Ca vaut à peine un deux étoiles! Nos amis pas plus gâtés que nous avec une vue sur un mur ! Nous avons demandé pour changer de chambre mais l'hôtel était complet. Fuyez cet hôtel ! Vu notre mécontentement justifié, on nous a offert le pdj mais il était infect ! Les viennoiseries sous vides, seulement des tranches de pain pas du jour qu'il faut griller puisque le pain n'est pas frais; le café du jus de chaussettes etc.... Le seul point positif était les excuses de la dame de la réception ! Le restaurant par contre était excellent. Etant loin du centre nous y avons mangé et nous avons été agréablement surpris de la qualité et l'originalité des plats. Très bon chef et très agréable serveur. Vous pouvez y manger sans y dormir !!! Ce que je vous conseille vivement...

Douche froide car le ballon dans chaque chambre ne permet pas deux douches dont une pour un lavage de cheveux longs avec démêlant. On nous dit qu’il faut attendre 15 minutes pour récupérer de l’eau chaude ! J’aurais aimé être prévenu avant. Parlons du lit : une couette sans housse et trouée (CF photo) par temps de Covid 😰😰 Quand au restaurant => fuyez c’est cher et surgelé mon poisson était encore froid au centre Pas de geste commercial

Al llegar nos dicen que a pesar de haberlo solicitado en dos correos, no tenían habitaciones con dos camas, no existen en el hotel, y nunca nos lo aclararon cuando lo preguntamos. Así y todo gracias a la gestión de la Srta. Marian, lo solucionó dándonos una habitación triple, sin sobrecoste. Muchas gracias por su profesionalidad y amabilidad. Así mismo la habitación tenía fallos de mantenimiento, ducha , cisterna, almohadas viejas, colchones incómodos. Vamos, en general falta de renovar. Tras estos incidentes que gracias a la Srta. Marian se solucionaron, el 2º día pudimos descansar mejor. La habitación tiene una caldera dentro que resulta molesta. El desayuno correcto, aunque se terminaban las cosas, a pesar de ser pocos clientes y había que pedirlas al encargado, que era muy poco eficaz. En general no creemos que sea un establecimiento merecedor de 4 estrellas. Destaco al personal de recepción, sumamente amable y que con su actitud van solventando dentro de lo posible las deficiencias del establecimiento. La situación del hotel es buena, pero para llegar también es un poco complicado. Agradecemos el obsequio que nos hicieron.

Love the bed!

Really nice room, bed and pillows were super comfy. Staff super friendly and helpful. Only downside was there was no hot water to have a shower.

À notre arrivée nous avons reçu un très bon accueil. Malheureusement la chambre que nous avons réservé ne correspondait pas à la photo sur le site de réservation de hôtel.com. Celle-ci pas très propre, une toute petite fenêtre donnant sur une petite cour. Mal éclairé. Nous avons pris le déjeuner et le repas du soir au restaurant de l'hôtel et nous avons très bien mangé. Le petit déjeuner quand à lui pas digne d'un 4 étoiles. Il nous fallu dresser la table nous même et ce qui nous était proposé était très restreint. Le pain pas bon, les croissants sous vide immangeables, que dire des boissons chaudes café, chocolat ....

Interesting hotel in the old part of the town

We knew it was difficult to get to had to walk around and down a steep path with luggage from the hotel parking lot to check in. The bed and toilet were very low off the floor making it very difficult for us (77 & 76 years) to stand up from and the lighting was dim, apart from that everything else was fine. The restaurant and food was good so were the staff and Guadix is a very interesting town.

Not bad for the price

We stayed in the suit. The room had everything we needed and the bed even though it was too low it was comfortable. My only note of criticism was that there was no shower/bath in the bathroom

Als vanouds

Nu er weer gereisd mag worden, ben ik weer in mijn vertrouwde hotel in Guadix verbleven. Het was zoals vanouds, veel sfeer, schoon en vriendelijke dames aan de receptie. En met de hitte van dit moment, is de aanwezige airconditiong een verademing. In één woord : TOP !
