"Everything was fine and plenty of parking. Wine and cakes to greet us! The mobile home is tight (e.g. narrow doors - compared to a normal home) but this was expected, even for a big van. Nevertheless, plenty big enough for three of us. Owners could not be more helpful. Great hosts. The noise from the busy A487 when bedroom windows are open during hot nights can be a bit disturbing for light sleepers - but then we were in an unusual heat wave! "A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"Very friendly staff. Free parking available for guests. We gave up a day of cleaning for free beer. the bar is well stacked and the breakfast is both buffet and made to order (free for Inn guests)."

"Upon arrival we were greeted by reception staff and they were very polite and friendly. They gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was neat and tidy and was adequate for our needs. Alex in the 1885 bar was very polite and friendly too. Going into breakfast next morning was lovely. We we were greeted by Lorraine and asked if we would like to a window table. She explained everything in detail and the breakfast menu was superb whither fresh fruit and yogurts and a great selection for breakfast. The poached eggs were perfect but we have to give a special mention for the chef Mick who made the most superb overnight oats with a selection of fruits and almonds it was delicious. Would we stay again, most certainly. Well done everyone for making our stay most enjoyable."

"It's an intriguing mixture of an old opposite-the-station hotel, but with beach bar vibe and student staff, and hang out for some locals, even at 8:00 in the morning. I appreciated the on-site parking and the friendly welcome. Food was good. I missed the advertised Thai breakfast the following morning, but had excellent Pad Thai the previous evening. There's a theme here - the owner/manager is Thai. It's not quite sure what it is. I saw somewhere that it was described as a bunkhouse. No, it's at least a guest house, almost a hotel, though it still has a handful of rooms that are not en-suite. So its identity is confusing, but it was welcoming and comfortable."

"We had one night here, perfect location for Trearddur bay , the valley and Holyhead. The hotel had just been taken over, the new owner seems excited to bring a new lease of life to the place. Hotel was quiet throughout the night, although the cleaners did disturb us at 8am chatting to each other in the corridor and slamming doors, maybe an idea to have the housekeeping staff start at 9am. The restaurant wasn’t yet open but we popped into the bar for a few drinks, the bar man was very friendly. The owner was very welcoming and I wish him the very best wishes on bringing the place to life again as it has so much potential. I would book again and look forward to the changes to come. And hopefully the restaurant will be up and running so we can enjoy a cooked breakfast."

"As a visually impaired single person i was a little worried, but i needn’t have been . Staff were courteous and helpful as soon as i walked in. Very pleased with room, plenty of space bright and airy, shower a little small, however ok, good water flow and hot. Breakfast buffet style, excellent choice, felt comfortable being on my own (very important) . Had excellent stay , will be back , thank-you everyone"

"This was my first visit. It’s a community owned hotel, run by locals who raised a lot of money to take it over and open it up again. They have done a great job. My room was spotless and I told my wife I needed sunglasses on the bedding was so white. A large shower in the en-suite was very welcome after a long day. I had my evening meal there and it was very good,"
