"Staff are wonderful. Water pressure is so bad it took 4-5 minutes for my water to get warm. ADA hand held shower has no post to position in a way that people can wash hair with both hands. No daily cleaning of the room. Garbage gets piled up. "

"Great place if you’re visiting the Berkeley area or Cal in general. In walking distance of everything Cal related with great local spots everywhere. It’s a very old hotel and they have leaned into that, so if you want somewhere modern this isn’t for you, but if you want a piece of Berkeley history I highly recommend. "

"Great area for walking, beautiful views, clean room. Plugs available on one side of bed only, room organization could be better. Had problems getting seated for breakfast, and order never arrived after 40 minutes."

"This is a converted garage with garage window. There is a small window that lets in a bit of light, but there was a lady looking in at me so I had to close the blind. There was no place where you could sit and use a laptop or place even a single plate and eat. All surfaces were cluttered. I counted more than 60 wine glasses in the room. The driveway you see is 95% of the time occupied by an electric vehicle, which is often charging. You have to navigate with your suitcase in the greed area in the picture. The room was pretty clean, but there were some long black hairs on the towel. (I have gray hair.)"

"Parking was close by, such a wonderful old property with history, lovely areas like library or courtyard to sit. Pool was lovely also met a lot of local members and enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast excellent great start to the day highly recommend "
