"The surroundings are maybe not what you expect from an idyllic establishment, nevertheless our stay was more than pleasant and we did feel very welcome. The hotel is near Kaldenkirchen’s train station and the usual grocery stores, the city’s centre is on walking distance. The amenities were more than you’ll expect from a two star hotel, free drinks including beer, coffee and soda’s. We stayed here on transit to the Ruhrgebied, and experienced plenty of room for us and our bicycles."

"A nice farm-house-style-hotel which is located in the middle of nowhere but only 3 minutes away from the motorway. A perfect location for one night."

"Large comfortable rooms, free parking, tea/coffee in the rooms and a nice breakfast in the morning. Central Baarlo is a 10 minute walk away and has restaurants. A pleasant place to stay."

"The staff was great and the room was lovely. The hotel’s closeness to the train station was great!"

"The room was spacious and in a good location. Good black out curtains and comfy bed. The bed was very comfortable too. The only downside were the tv wouldn’t work in the morning (but worked the previous night) and the shower was nice and powerful but leaked into the room. I would highly recommend the hotel."
