"Very special place Spent father's day weekend six adults and two children. Plenty of room for all. The little shooting range was perfect do alittle plinking and go inside for dinner. The view was amazing and the house was a great hunting lodge. Beds were very comfortable and clean great experience"

"This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If you forgot something, don’t worry, it’s probably available in the house. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and the sparkling bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfortable beds! The host is very nice and responds quickly to your messages. We really enjoyed everything at Gooseloop Getaway and would definitely stay here again. "
