Home had no power, roaches.

When we arrived, the home had no power. The owner said they would contact the utilities company. I asked them to keep us updated. We heard no further updates, even after reaching out again. We left and stayed in a hotel instead. We have video documentation of no power and roaches.

Terrible experience

We booked this property in Sept ‘24 for May ‘25 graduation. I messaged the host in March and received no response. The day of our check-in as we were driving to Greenville, I messaged the host because I hadn’t revised check-in info. I had received an email from VRBO about checking but no instructions. Immediately after messaging the host, my booking was cancelled. We were on the way to graduation. He had overbooked on another site and cancelled my reservation which I made 8 months in advance. Terrible communication and highly unethical decision making from this host. I appreciate VRBOs assistance in the matter. .

SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!!

There is only one other review for this VRBO property. Unfortunately, I never saw the review because it was posted after I had already booked the property. However, I could not agree more with the reviewer. STAY AWAY!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!! We arrived at the property and were instructed via the VRBO app to contact the host directly on his cellphone to gain access to the property. The host never responded to our multiple text messages, voicemail messages and messages sent through the VRBO app. We called VRBO customer service and they were also unable to get a response from the host. We eventually had to find a hotel room at the last minute. Hopefully no one has booked this property for ECU Family Weekend next week because they will also be left searching for a hotel room.As of the posting of this review, we still have not received any acknowledgment from the host.
