We arrived in time to meet Alda, the maid. She made sure we had everything we needed. The young people slept up stairs and were delighted with the suite and bath plus their own balcony. The hike up the alley to the street was pretty tough for us old ladies, but we did it. There is a little store at the top with most things you need, I.e., water and wine. We approached Alda to see if she would cook us a Greek dinner in the unit. She came back the next night with a lovely dinner of pastikio , salad and sea bass. Her husband and daughter joined us for the meal and we made a new and wonderful friendship. It was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We highly recommend this unit and loved the view from the balcony to the sea. Church bells rang every night and were a sound to remember. There is lots of walking and hiking up and down hill, Its worth every minute. Maryann had arranged many details and had the van sent to drive us to the airport. Great restaurants just down the hill on the front street. Especially the Italian one. Bring your walking shoes and a cork screw. The view and friendship are provided.
