We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. "Great location and so convenient for local restaurants and shops. Parking offside took a minute or two and was really easy. Our room was very large and perfect for my disabled Mum. Breakfast and food in the bar was excellent. It was lovely to sit and relax with such a stunning view. Chantelle made sure our room was always clean and lovely to return to. All the staff were so sweet and nothing was too much trouble. Overall great value, fabulous location, gorgeous views and walkability."

"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."

"A wonderful stay yet again at the salutation hotel. The location of the hotel makes it an ideal stay to visit Ambleside. Perfect to park the car when you arrive and no need to use it again for your stay. Having a spa within the hotel is a bonus and the standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel is exceptional. We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel , which yes there is a little street noise , but nothing you wouldn’t expect staying in a town centre , and certainly didn’t keep you awake at night - in fact it was probably one of the highlights of our room - people watching below and the beautiful fells in the distance. Breakfast is a real treat , excellent selection of hot and cold food and drinks , there is everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - everyone greats you with a smile and are most helpful. Having visited the Lake District from childhood staying at campsites, lodges, cottages and b&b’s , I can honestly say this is my favourite place to stay. Thank you to the team at The Salutation Hotel , hopefully we will return soon."
