This cozy townhouse is located in the heart of Grass Lake near Jackson and Ann Arbor, MI. Walk or bike to Missy's Little Grass Shack for the coldest beer in town and a burger or enjoy a sandwich at Jam's Deli. Nearby at the county park there is a public boat launch, playground, pavilion with grills and swimming/fishing in the lake.

Need more space? Ask about renting the additional two townhomes next door.

Handfasting ceremony
I preformed a Handfasting ceremony at the Whistle stop. Beautiful spot! I was able to relax because of the woods and little fire pit out back. Thank you so much :)

A good place
Overall a good place to stay if you need to be in area. Next closest is a drive to Jackson. Found the add on fees a little high. Would probably stay agian.

pleasant surprise
a nice Suprise to find these units. Clean, nice area and well equipped and furnished. Never could connect to Wi-Fi. not a showstopper though. A good place to stay.

Great place!
When we tried to check in we had been given the wrong unit number and someone was already staying there. Lauren finally got back to us and we got it straightened out. The place was great, clean, nicely decorated and good location.

Quiet get away for business trip
I had business in both Ann Arbor and Jackson, so this spot was perfect for convenience and out of the hustle and bustle. The kitchen was large and well stocked with utensils and appliances. The cottage decor was simple but I liked that part and the bed was very comfortable. Side note, bring decaf coffee because there is none at the cottage. If like me, you find yourself wanting a hot decaf beverage in the evening, forget the gas stations, their selection, prices and service was terrible. Dunkin Donuts is about 2 miles north of town out by the I94 interchange on Mt. Hope Road. Mt. Hope is one of the major intersections with a light in town. Dunkin Donuts is located in a gas station convenience store and there's also a Subway there. That place has a good selection of snack foods, fresh, etc. On the flip side, the local Shop Rite Grocery store is also nice and has a remarkably large selection of alcoholic beverages!

Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood
We were in town for a family reunion which worked out really well. The condo was only a few blocks from town as well as a grocery and the county park pavilion where it was held. The owner wasn't terribly communicative and never did answer questions on our first evening in her condo. There was supposed to be a hairdryer provided and I packed accordingly, but none was available. The house was, however, very clean with useful kitchen equipment. Downtown Grass Lake was charming but I was surprised there was no information about the train museum or local businesses. We enjoyed our visit.

Location was great property was clean as a whistle had everything we needed pretty easy to find and overall was just one of the best places I’ve ever stayed
