We ask that you remain in the approved rental space and do not go behind fence lines to interact/touch/engage with the horses or cows. The white rope like fence is electrified and we ask that you remain on the approved side of it; if you are found beyond the fence lines you may be asked to leave. This poses a serious risk and liability to yourself and us, and by booking with us you assume all liability of being on a working farm and the inherent risks that come with it. Please not the horses and cows will be moved throughout the property and rotated between pastures and therefore may not be near the home at all times. There are also 2 working ranch dogs and therefore we request that when you are outside of the fenced area you keep your animals leashed/contained at all times. The space you are “renting” is the fully fenced yard, the entire home. The concrete area is where you can park your vehicle; there is a big space and we offer parking and room for trucks and trailers to maneuver and turn around as well. We allow early check in/late check out by request and charge a fee for this service. We offer a highchair, and pack n play for guests, and can have them set up for you upon request. We offer housekeeping of the home for longer stays upon request and charge a fee for this service. The Milk Barn is located at the base of the property and sits behind two gates; which both have auto openers on them. A gate clicker is provided to you for your stay within a lock box located at the entry of the property and is to be returned to the lockbox upon your departure. The information for this will be provided to you upon booking. The entry gate has a sign clearly stating “The Milk Barn Farm Stays” and there are signs to help guide you to the second gate and down to the home. The first home you see is the hosts home and if any major issues arise that cannot be resolved through the messages application on VRBO, you’re welcome to come to the home for help. Typically someone is always home, either Heather, or Bradley the owners, or Laura (Mother in law) who can assist. We have two young boys and we can usually be found watching them ride their quads, setting irrigation, playing in our front yard at the main home or someone nearby!
