The historic Cartmel racecourse is less than a mile from home, hosting horse racing and music events while the adjoining Cartmel Park enjoys numerous events throughout the year. Venture 3 miles to the Edwardian seaside town of Grange-over-sands with a lovely promenade walk to fully experience the beauty of Morecambe Bay. Further afield, Lake Windermere is 6 miles, where visitors can enjoy idyllic Lake cruises, water sports or hiking along the scenic Lakeside trails.
