Beautifully updated rooms and lobby. The Embers restaurant food was delicious and the bar was modern and comfortable. All employees were helpful and accommodating. Free water bottles! 」
「Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through.
The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive.

「I arrived late, but had no issues accessing our room. Settling up with the front office the next morning was quick and easy.
The property is in impeccable condition. Both the rooms and the outdoor/common areas were exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the pavilion and fire pit, where we had the chance to meet other travelers and swap stories.
You can’t beat the location of the Hemlock Inn. Blowing Rock is incredibly walkable and full of charm. My wife and I strolled from one end of town...

20 minutes to gourmet restaurants. 20 to 45 minutes to shopping a the movie theater. The best of both.」

We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers.
