Awesome place, awesome host. Nothing but praise for this lovely home. When I entered the house I decided I never wanted to leave. Beautifully decorated for Fall. The host was a text away when needed for questions. Clean and comfortable and very inviting.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

This property was everything we wanted in our weekend stay for Trade Days in Canton. It was such a relaxing and comfortable stay. The porch was covered which really helped when we wanted to sit outside with the rain. So many birds to watch with all the feeders close by. We can't forget the duck that would come and hang out at the pond every day. :) We will be definitely coming back.

Beautiful relaxing retreat

Canton Cottage had it all. The location was convenient, property was trabquil and relaxing.The house was immaculate and we had no problems.. the owners responded quickly to the few questions we had. We definitely recommend this property.

Great Little Getaway

We had a lovely time at this cute home. Stephanie was a gracious host and was extremely helpful in guiding us around the area and giving us restaurant ideas and driving directions. Would definitely visit again.

The property is beautiful and well-maintained and well stocked and the owners made communication extremely easy. Of properties we’ve visited both domestic and international, this one is the best so far!

A 5+ Star Stay!

This is our second stay at the Canton Cottage - the first one being 3 years ago. The house is beautiful and you have everything at your disposal you could possibly want. The owner is so friendly, accommodating and located really close. It’s conveniently located about a 10 or 15 minute drive to first Monday trade days. Though we did not use the Blackstone, the addition of both it, and the hot tub are wonderful!

Perfect place for our mother/sister trip

The Canton Cottage was wonderful!!! Out in the country, but really close to canton - so really it’s the best of both worlds. The house was very clean, spacious and decorated with beautiful fall decorations. Fully stocked kitchen with a very nice coffee bar. The back porch is wonderful in the mornings and the sunroom is fantastic in the evenings. The host, Stephanie is fantastic and just a text away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming out shopping at Canton trade days or just looking for a quiet getaway in the country.

Girl’s Canton Weekend

Perfect Respite

This property is exactly as described! It was a perfect get-away to reconnect with extended family. The back porch is lovely - watching ducks, birds, trees blowing in the breeze, fishing in the pond (catch and release of course) - the fisherman in our group caught 5 fish! I was a little worried about the pet-friendly property since I'm allergic, but the house was very clean - zero problems with allergies.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Canton Cottage. We very much enjoyed watching the many different birds and ducks while spending time on the back deck taking in the beautiful setting and just relaxing. The interior of the cottage did not disappoint either. We found it to be very clean, cozy, roomy and comfortable, and especially loved the sunroom. The owners have thought of everything you might need to make your stay memorable and were so nice to keep in touch with us and provide our group with helpful and useful information, not only about the cottage, but also many surrounding restaurants and venues. We can’t wait to go back!

Kind & Responsive hosts

We had a family emergency arise, and so thankful to have had Stephanie as our host - she was kind and responsive. Leading up to the stay, Stephanie and Ted additionally provided helpful directions and great references for wineries and things to do in the area. Look forward to a future stay!

Absolutely Perfect!!!

A group of friends and family coming from different directions converged on the Canton Cottage for a few days of shopping, eating, drinking and visiting. It was perfect! Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need to cook in that beautiful kitchen! Comfortable beds and the deck and porch are great for viewing many kinds of birds and the resident ducks. The owners are fantastic and do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable and wonderful as possible. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Excellent peaceful family retreat

Stephanie amd Ted, the owners, have done an amazing job making their home a truly relaxing, fun, and easy to move in too vacation destination! Stephanie was over the top fantastic with communication and extra perks like condiments in the fridge and soap and shampoo available if needed. Highly recomend the stay, we had a really amazing and fun time!!

Peaceful, lovely, great escape

This was was the best Vrbo home our family has stayed at, hands down. You needed a tooth pick, a high chair; it was there. The outdoor living space even though it was in tbe 100 degrees still pleasant. My mom of 80 had no problem getting around. The home owners just awesome. I would love to rent this home again! We did a full on turkey dinner and the kitchen was amazing well appointed. We loved the cat books! Just everything made my birthday a trip to remember.

Canton Cottage Sanctuary

We found it to be a very relaxing and restorative experience in every way. Even in mid summer we were drawn to the porch and deck to enjoy the views of the pond and abundant wildlife. The sunroom is wonderful too. Stephanie was immediately responsive if we had a question and prepared us ahead of time for best route to the house as well as pertinent details about its usage. Spoiler alert: don’t miss the light and no sound show at night!

Perfect setup for our family

We stayed here with our young kids and parents as well as some aunts and uncles. Great gathering spot for family! Enjoyed mornings on the porch drinking coffee and watching birds/ducks. Plenty of space to play in the sunroom and a great big table to gather around for meals and games.
