"If you are looking for a perfect view of lake Superior and like to hear the sound of the waves, this is the place. It is as close to the water as you can get with a beautiful observation area on the second floor, along with nice views from just about anyplace in the house. Great rock formations just bellow the house. Not a place for swimming. It also has a wonderful wood burning fireplace."

"We loved our time at Northern Lights Retreat! A very clean, well appointed, beautiful spot on the N shore. Began our days with coffee on the back deck, then found sea glass on the shore, relaxed in the hot tub and finished the day sitting around the fire pit. The perfect place to totally unwind. Hosts were quick to respond. We traveled with a toddler and a 4 yr old and we loved all the toys and books provided. All in all… a really great vacation home."

"Wonderful stay. I traveled solo with my dog and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring the North Shore. The location is ideal: close to the beach and an easy drive into town, yet so quiet and peaceful it felt remote. The house is cozy and well appointed, with everything I needed, and the bed was super comfortable. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it."
