This is a newly updated beachfront rental with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is an open kitchen/dining area with living room and TV. From the upper deck you can see the Gulf of Mexico. Downstairs covered area for hanging out or cooking up your favorite BBQ or boiled seafood. There is a fish cleaning table with sink and an outdoor shower for rinsing off when coming in from the beach.

Nearest beach crossing is across from Grape Lane just three lots over.

Renters are responsible for filling propane tanks.

  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night.
