  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Perfect Weekend

We can’t say enough about this property. Everything went smoothly. The owner contact was personable and helpful. The place is comfortable and inviting . It’s beautifully decorated and spacious. The kitchen and pantry were stocked to perfection and detail. Nice long porch for beach viewing and lots of seating for everyone. Will return soon!

2025 GATEWAY TO THE GULF GETAWAY

This was our 2nd stay at this property. Coco Cabana is everything that was advertised. The view from our balcony looking into the gulf was absolutely one for the eyes to witness. From our accomodations, to crabbing, to fishing, to visiting with town's people, and making new friends it was well needed. See
