Multiple Problems
Great location and condo was a good size for 3 generations of family members. However, once we arrived, we reached out to the host about the following concerns with pictures:-CLEANLINESS; when we arrived the place was sticky, used bandage on floor, air freshener sat by kitchen sink because of strong smell from drain, crumbs on kitchen counter. We did our own deep clean. Throughout the stay our 5 year-old’s feet had to keep being cleaned because they were black on the bottom. -SECURITY; 1 of 2 outside patio doors does not lock and our 5 year old is on the Autism spectrum. Host responded with indifference, “The door doesn’t lock because it’s on the second floor.”-MAINTENANCE: queen bed in bedroom 2 was broken down, broken knob on twin bed bedpost (both mentioned in reviews a year ago), broken light bulbs, broken toilet paper holder. Host downplayed concerns “Thank you, yes some of this is normal wear and tear.” Throughout ongoing conversations, host was unsympathetic and condescending.When on vacation everyone wants to unwind/relax, wants everything to be right and when it’s not, wants the host to make it right without hassle. This was not this vacation.Would not stay again because of the lack of cleanliness, security, maintenance of the unit and how the host interacts when dealing with guest’s concerns.
