"I really enjoyed my stay in La Tortue Bleue. The pool and the rhum bar are definitely adding a touch of calm and relaxation to the place. Being used to hotels, I felt the indoor rooms and commodities could have been cleaner. Overall a very good experience. "

Stécy et Hendrick sont adorables et réactifs. La piscine est top, tout comme le spa. Tout ça est idéal pour se relaxer. J’y retournerai volontiers ! "Had a good stay. Car needed as beach access is limited directly from property though there is a “ secret” beach a reasonable walk away. Food was good with quite large portions. Room and private patio and gardens were very good. Speaking some basic French would be very helpful to you though staff did their best and there were fluent English speakers around most of the time. You are definitely in France but the experience is worth it. "

"The hotel itself was very clean with good facilities but our room would have benefitted from a bit of modernisation and tlc. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the garden. The food served was fresh and varied. Overall a good base to explore Guadeloupe "

"The apartment was in good condition but it was unexpected not to have windows (other than a shuttered one in the kitchen to the inner foyer area). And the listing clearly says microwave (there wasn’t one) and laundry facilities (there were but not for guest access). That last was a huge issue but with a lot of pressure we were given access to the washer/dryer. "

"On arrival it took almost an hour to check in, when I asked why it was taking so long I was informed that the room I booked was not available. i was finally given a room but although I was told it was like for like, it was not in the main hotel and was quite far from the restaurants and entertainment area. I will make sure my booking is confirmed in the main hotel building next time."
