We stayed at this property in January, and while it had its positives, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.Cons:The heating system was a major issue. Some rooms were unbearably hot (reaching 79F) with no way to lower the temperature, while others were freezing. Despite multiple visits from the maintenance technician, the problem persisted, and we eventually resorted to using the backup emergency heating units, which barely worked—an unacceptable situation during winter.One of the downstairs sinks was out of order. Unfortunately, the couple staying in that room didn’t mention it until the end of our stay, so it remained unusable.The house’s renovation was subpar. Uneven tiles in the kitchen caused tripping hazards, and the bathroom sinks were impractically small, with no usable counter space and water constantly spilling over.The hot tubs were dirty upon arrival, and we opted not to use them. Similarly, the steam room had sand or powder on the floor, making it unappealing.The driveway was treacherous when iced over. Even with AWD and 4x4 vehicles, it was impossible to avoid sliding, which led to an accident where one of our cars slid into another.The house wasn’t ready at the promised 4 PM check-in time.
