The Southern Sapphire: A Cozy Lake View Getaway

Only 8 minutes from downtown, the Southern Sapphire offers access to local restaurants, attractions & more.

A variety of amenities are provided, including a fire pit & 2 outdoor lounging areas. Inside you will find a cozy master bedroom & bathroom, a large living room area with a sofa bed & a full kitchen stocked with all of your morning coffee needs!

Lightning-fast internet at 300MBPS is also included.

The Space:

The Southern Sapphire is a perfect spot for couples, small families, or a girl's getaway.

The Master Bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress, a walk-in closet, and a TV with an array of streaming platforms available for use such as Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ (There are free entertainment options included but guests may choose to use their own subscriptions).

The Living Room is the perfect space for having a game night or cozying up with a good book. There is a soft, comfy couch & 2 lounging chairs to recline on. The couch also turns into a short queen sleeper sofa with a two-inch memory foam pad for a great night's sleep. Various games to play are provided for guest entertainment.

The Kitchen is stocked with a variety of cookware & bakeware items, including pots, pans, bowls, utensils, and more. There is a coffee station complete with a Keurig coffee maker, milk frother, and plenty of sweetener options to choose from. Also provided is a hot water kettle and an assortment of tea bags.

The Bathroom provides amenities such as towels, shampoo & conditioner, body soap, a hairdryer and dedicated make-up towels.

The Outdoor Living area is made up of 2 different lounging areas. Start your day with a warm cup of coffee out on the deck. Visit the fire pit space at night and take in the views of the night sky.

Our hope is that you will experience all that Granbury has to offer. Go downtown & eat some great food, visit a local vintage shop, stop to see the beautiful lake & parks, and maybe even do a wine-tasting tour. The point is: get out and have some fun! When you get back, be sure to put on your favorite pjs, snuggle up beside a warm fire, and don't forget to do some star gazing.

You are welcome to bring children of any age but please be aware that the house/property is not "childproof.” It is the parent's responsibility to evaluate the suitability of the property for their needs, and to ensure their children follow the house rules.

There are two security cameras are located on the exterior of the house, one near the front door and one near the deck, both facing the driveway and public roadway.
