「Loved having our own space. Feels like you're in your own unique home. Very quiet, no noise from next door apartroom. Fantastic sleep in a very comfortable superking bed. Very powerful shower. All mod cons, so you can cook yourselves or order in a takeaway. There is a laundry room on the premises, although we didn't use but saw others use. Only downfall we had is there is not much space at the sides of the bed and you havent got enough shelves at bedside. 」

「The photos in the listing do not do this house justice. The views from the garden are spectacular. It doesn’t even seem real! There is everything you could possibly need in the house. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, floor to ceiling books and a big shower with hot water. We wish that we could move there and stay forever.」

「Well equipped home, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Ideal for what we wanted (2 couples and elderly lady). Excellent location. The home was comfortable and in the most part clean (a previous guest clearly had dogs and the windows were full of nose marks), bits of mould in the bathrooms. Could have done with a grab rail in the downstairs bathroom just to make it a bit more disabled friendly. 「This is our third visit which probably says it all! The property is war, clean , comfortable and peaceful. It isn't really equipped for proper cooking but has a toaster, small mobile hot plate and toaster, very adequate for our needs. Our hosts were friendly,welcoming and unobtrusive.」

「The house and ground are lovely and very close to the beach. Food was very good for the price, and overall very happy with my stay. 「Beautiful place. We loved the fact that it's 799 years old, thinking about all the people that have come and gone before us enjoying the same space. Pretty grounds right on the river Dee. Old cemetery and remains of a chapel right behind for exploring. Natural beauty all around. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite and everything met our expectations. Will definitely stay again. Also love that they have a vegan menu in their restaurant! 🌱💚」
