「When i booked the property i was under the impression that the price on hotels.com was the price. We then had to pay extra for the dogs, extra for bedding and extra for electricity used. It would have been better if this was in the details of the booking before you confirm. When people are on a budget this could be hard for them. 「We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!」

「We stayed for one night as we had tickets to see Texas at Lincoln Castle and wished we had booked for longer. It's perfect for 2 people or 2 couples, the decor is lovely, it's spotlessly clean and well placed for local pubs etc, with a taxi to the castle just 8. The beds were very comfy and our host left lots of bread etc as the co-op next door is closed at the moment. A really relaxing place to stay just four miles from the city.」
