Goulburn Valley High Country Rail Trail

Frequent visitor to Melbourne and thought we’d try somewhere new. Expecting more from this hotel. The reviews prior seemed good but we were underwhelmed on our 3 night stay. I would describe the hotel as being refurbished from the bottom up and our room (421) was on the top floor. Room would have benefitted from a thorough cleaning including removing marks from the walls etc. Great location on the tram line to the city and St Kilda (16 and 94). Moved to another hotel on Sunday night to meet colleagues and staying in a room that is twice as big at half the cost and very clean.

Close to main tram line, Vic harbor walk, Woolies on doorstep and plenty of bars/restaurants around. Perfect location. Gave me a late checkout of 2pm! Nobody does that late!

Solo traveler visiting Melbourne for the NFL 49ers Rams game and had a 1st class stay at the Treasury on Collins. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The balcony room was exceptional allowing for time outside to soak up the views and sounds of the city. Location in the CBD was outstanding. Close to so much and access to the free transit in the CBD zone and beyond to experience more of the city including to the game at the MCG was priceless. Definitely will look to stay here again when I return. This is a true luxury Hotel.
