My stay at Spar Gärda
In this hotel you can choose how often you would like your towels to be changed or yiur room yo be cleaned. I found this aspect very helpful regarding the environment. The breakfast is very good except that I was staying there for a few days and since everything was the sane, I found that a bit boring. Although the kind and amazing people who served the breakfast made up for it!

To be fair, there was renovation underway during our visit. Still, finding the dirty soak next to the bed was gross. The front view was a busy highway, and out back was a parking lot. The room was very tiny. Peaking into another room I saw that it was normal size. Not sure how we got the tiny room. I couldn't even get out of the bed without my butt opening the curtains. An annoying reminder to keep with my diet lol. Wasn't particularly close to anything. However, five stars to the staff, and the aminities - decent gym, lounge, and breakfast. Still, overall three stars

No air condition. The wifi did not reach our room. The breakfast buffet was below normal. We had to sleep with windows wide open because it was extremely hot inside the room.

Dear Siena Marie. We got a message during the evening June 19th from the company that handles our wifi equipment that a router was broken around room 425. Was your room there?We normally get very good reviews from our breakfast. In the nordic countries it is unusual with AC in the hotel rooms, its very cold weather most of the year. We offer to lend out fans during heat waves.We are very sorry that you were dissapointed.

Hotel was clean and friendly, and their family room had a bunk bed which our 5 and 6 year old liked. Rooms were a little warm and we couldn't find the thermostat to cool the room down and if you opened the window then unfortunately you would hear the traffic from the main road. Their double glazing was amazing because when you shut the window you couldn't hear a thing,

Good hotel
A little bit of a walk from the train station, but over all nice place. Felt a little bit in a secluded place. Cheap hotel but good service. Breakfast was nice as well.

Ok hotel walking distance to city and conserts
Nice hotel. My room was a little bit simple but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV didn't work well but i wasn't ther for TV so it didn't bother me. Breakfast was ok but needed some improvements. For the costo of a room i expect a better breakfast than that. Staff was nice and welcoming.

Exterior a little unappealing with a busy dual carriageway 10 foot from the front door, but interior clean and welcoming. Room nice, clean and comfortable for three nights stay. Within walking distance of city centre.

The hotel was right next to highway and the hotel didn't have any A/C, so we couldn't open the window for fresh air. Also the hotel is far from everything and almost nothing around it. The big problem was lack of shower. there was just tub.

Clean and cozy stay in Gothenburg
The room was clean and cozy, and minimally furnished. The room was eco-friendly as well. The hotel staff were considerate in arranging accommodation for me when I turned up one day earlier (I had given them a heads up through email)

Come for a decent breakfast, to escape the crowds
This hotel is a little out of the way from the centre (unless youre heading to the stadium) plus its next to a motorway and the area is on the quiet side. I didnt feel unsafe and i think the price reflects the fact its not central. Its about 20 minutes walk fro. Central station. The room is plain but its comfortable enough and very Scandi - blond wood and sparse so no kettle or iron. The bedsheet was the one thing i disliked as its too short for the bed and kept ridding up. Breakfast was a good mixture and shouls satisfy most people - hot (scrambled eggs, bacon, sauaages, pancakes), sliced meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, cut fruit such as melon, oranges, grapes. Reception was helpful when i had a few queries, especially Maria. I really like the fact that there are bins near the lifts to do your recycling and more hotels should adopt this concept. All in, I. would stay again if i come back to Goteborg.

Comfortable stay
The stay was very pleasant and clean. A couple of minor things: 1. the on-site parking is limited 2. we were missing a hairdryer in the room. The receptionist did manage to find one at the back but it was quite dusty and dirty so we didn't use it. We only stayed one night but it was comfortable and the breakfast was great! Would recommend.
