"The apartment was very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and the owners have thought of every last detail to make the stay absolutely perfect. "The view of the room is excellent, facing the sea. We can watch the sunset from our room and recorded a hyperlapse video of the sunset which was magnificent. There was a problem with the shower: only hot water came out. The receptionist came up to address the problem. The plumber was called but could not come until the next day. He gave us the next room for shower, which is very nice of him. The restaurant has good food and service, and the view is also excellent. The building and furnishing are a little old. It will be nice to refurbish the building and rooms. No elevators for upper floors."

"Having had quite a difficult journey, the staff at Loch Shiel hotel were utterly superb and went above and beyond for us. Not only were they kind, friendly and so patient but the amenities and room were fantastic. You have not experienced Scottish hospitality until you’ve been to this hotel! Food was delightful and only beaten by their wonderful service. There was a great lively pub down the stairs and the rooms were cosy, clean and so comfy! Couldn’t recommend the Loch Shiel Hotel enough!"
