「We live in Edinburgh but had to book somewhere to stay while we were having work done at our house and Sycamore Cottage was perfect for four of us. The bedrooms are really spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped which isn’t always the case in self catering accommodation. We didn’t think we’d need to use the log burner but a typical Scottish spring meant we used it a few nights and there was plenty of logs left for it. Easy to drive into Edinburgh or can get the train from Gorebridge....

「We had a last minute change of plans and I needed to find suitable accommodation for my family of 4. I came across the 'Garden House' in my initial search and compared 5 other similar solutions. 「We had a lovely stay. As we visited for an event nearby there wasn’t much time to explore the area but the cottage was a great base. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The dogs loved the large garden and we would definitely return.」

「We stopped at the Pine Marten for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and was well located for us. Our room was fine - clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities necessary. Check in and check out was easy. We had a ground floor room with level access. The staff at the hotel and associated pub were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and they were very keen to make sure that my food allergies were catered for. A good hotel 👍」
