The deck also comes equipped with 2 10' privacy umbrellas, Weber Genesis II BBQ, and cast iron patio set. This 400 square foot deck is the ultimate set-up to take advantage of the Aspens outdoor space & amazing views year round.

The inside features two bedrooms and an oversized sectional sofa, with a queen pull-out, that faces the wall-mounted flat screen and high-end surround sound system with free wifi, satellite tv, and Apple TV.

This condo also includes a fully equipped kitchen, as well as an in suite washer/dryer and entertainment amenities.

Whether you're looking for the ultimate adventure vacation or hoping to relax and take in the sweeping scenery of the Columbia valley, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the town of Golden has something to offer for every traveller.

The condo is considered a ski in/ski out, but you will have to walk about 3-4 minutes uphill to access the ski run. Alternatively, if you don't want to warm up the body it is a short 1-2 minute drive down to the main parking lot.

In summer, you can't get much closer than direct access to Scalli-Mag - a trail connecting KHMR to the CBT Mainline and Moonraker trails.

A very beautiful property perfect for a mountain getaway. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and has everything you need to cook. Hot tub and outside area were a great place to relax.

We had a wonderful time. The place was clean, the kitchen has all the things I need for cooking including spices and good comfortable beds. It is a close walk to the resort and the view is stunning. We did really enjoy our stay.

Everything you need....

Place was stocked so well, everything in working order, awesome deck chairs, games for family, towels even for our hot tub... a little far from hill for spring ski in/out but that was expected.... hosts were awesome, responded quickly and worked with our dates.... would totally book again!

The Perfect Stay

The condo was exactly as described and the beds were very comfortable. We've stayed in the Aspens quite a few times at Kicking Horse, and this is our favorite unit to date. We would definately take a standing reservation after Christmas every year!

Great property

Our family of 4 enjoyed the condo. The kitchen was well appointed with pots/pans/etc so that we could make meals on our own while staying here. We appreciated the hot tub as well after some busy days exploring the local area. The location was well situated being about an hour from Banff, and an hour from Radium Hot Springs. We would stay here again and look forward to a winter trip.

Beautiful location

Perfect place on the side of the mountain. Close to the slopes. High above Golden. Beautiful Mountain View’s all around. I slept like a baby. Easy to get in and out. It has everything you need.

Definitely recommend

Took an adventure trip with my sister-in-law to Golden. Booked this condo through Vrbo... Definitely did not disappoint. Was very clean and accommodating. The views were amazing. Only steps away from the resort and about a 15 min drive from Golden.

Property was well equipped and clean, hot tub had dirt in the bottom. Info says it sleeps 5, not comfortable for 5 adults. Queen size bed for 2, double bed big enough for 1, top bunk good as a single. Pull out sofa bed was terrible, mattress should be replaced as it is mentioned in the ad as useable. Over all a decent place for a short stay.

Golden Retreat

Jason is a spectacular host—communicating and working with us throughout the entire stay. His home on the top flour (the unit to the left for anyone who might get confused at the top of the stairs) is gorgeous; the patio is perfect for entertaining, with a grill, patio chairs, and a hot top with magnificent views; and the beds and rooms are quaintly decorated and clean (fair warning to all those staying in summer—there is no AC, so prepare accordingly). I could not recommend enough!

Beautiful relaxing getaway

Perfect size for a family getaway in the mountains (or 2 couples). We had our 4 month old with us so it was very useful to be able to use their pack and play for him to sleep in , as well as their high chair when we were at the dinner table. The images of the views don’t do it justice as it’s absolutely stunning and breathtaking in person! You can see the mountains from the living room/dinning room with nothing blocking the view since you’re on the top floor.Hot tub is perfect for 3-4 people. This location also had some extra stuff as a bonus if you forgot to bring some basic things like: shampoo/conditioner, body wash, foil, spices, etc. Communication with Jason was also always very quick from the moment of booking and pleasant which I appreciate a lot.Highly recommend this location and would certainly stay here again!

Great Location! Great Place!

You can't get much closer to the base of the mountain. A 2 minute walk up to where you put your skis on, then ski down to the base. Ski all the way home at the end of the day. Communication with Jason was easy, quick and straightforward. The condo was as advertised - clean, nice and well stocked. The hot tub was bigger and nicer than I expected, plus had a nice view. The garage was easy to access, as was the ski locker. What a bonus not having to scrape snow off the car after a few days skiing. The kitchen is well set up, plus its nice having laundry machines so we didn't have to over-pack. We didn't cook much, but did bring home a raclette set up from the Double Black cafe at the mountain one night - great option if you're too lazy to cook but don't want to go out.

Incredible property making the most of a beautiful location. We enjoyed the comfort and technology inside and the barbecue and hot tub overlooking the Rockies on the deck surrounded by trees. Kitchen was immaculately clean and had everything necessary. The property felt very spacious and all the fittings and furniture were of very high quality. We were genuinely sad to leave. Kicking Horse resort is just a few minutes away on foot with restaurants and a local shop and the lovely town of Golden is beautiful drive about 15mins away. Very highly recommend this place.
