"A great hotel and location on the waterfront to enjoy that part of Kuching. Was there 26 years ago and parts of hotel show it. Clearly been some renovation updates. Rye Bar, whilst good is lacking access points. Overall still warrants a 4.5 rating in that part of Kuching."

"Perfectly functional hotel. Spacious, clean room. Friendly staff in lobby and at restaurant. The room we booked had one bed in a loft, which we didn’t want to deal with, so they changed the room no problem! Only minor issues are that they could use a shelf in the bathroom, as there is no place to put toiletries. And only one (of three) beds is near an outlet/charger."

"Cove 55 was the perfect finale to our family trip. Tucked between the slopes of Mount Santubong and the South China Sea, it feels like a private retreat — our room was spacious, spotless, and so quiet at night that all we heard was the jungle. But it’s the people who made our stay. The team helped us arrange our trips to the Semenggoh orangutans and a wetland cruise, and thought of every detail so that traveling with three generations felt effortless. Breakfast was wonderful — Western and local Sarawakian dishes both — and dinner by the pool at sunset was the highlight of our whole Malaysia trip. We left rested and already planning to come back."
