The Shores in Surfer's Paradise was incredible, the apartment is such a lovely place, really well located to shops, bars and restaurants, and the private pool is amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be revisiting!

Great long-term stay in the heart of Surfers

We stayed at The Shores for 16 nights, it was well worth it being so close to the beach and also not too far from the heart of Surfers Paradise. The staff were easily contactable and the apartment itself was fully equipped with everything we needed. Bonus was having access to a complimentary laundry facility.

Great location and nice room

Place was great, good space nice furnishings , check in went easy everything done by text and email. Only complaint was the patio door needed to be cleaned. If you have a car you need to book it ahead as there is not much parking. Location is perfect close to beach, dining and entertainment.

Loved it. Beautiful property. Great location. Spacious and has everything you need. The pool area is great and gives you the option to spend time outside even if your not wanting to swim. Plenty of areas for different family members to do different things. Great communication and friendly service. Was so easy checking in and checking out. Will definitely be back. My new favourite place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Shores. It was in a quieter area of Surfers Paradise. The apartment had been recently renovated with very good quality fittings, fixtures and with nice little extras. Would recommend.

The property is lovely, clean and local the management are great. But the facilities are not ideal. No aircon in the bedroom, only sheer curtains in the main area which gives no privacy at night, no full length mirror, no oven and no in room laundry. All a bit unusual when you rent an apartment.

Thank you The Shores Team! I have had very good experiences in Gold Coast because of good accommodation. The check in process was a bit running late 15 min but when I got in the room it was amazing and good vibes! Really recommend this place!

This is a new motel with a very limited facilities. No gym, no swimming pool access, poor parking facilities for a bigger car. It’s clean and fresh but for the money I have paid - there were much better options than this place

Hi, thank you, we liked the apartment. It was clean, tidy and convenient. Location was great and it was relatively quiet and safe. It was a bit overpriced, given it did not have a pool (when I booked it, in the photos, it said there was a pool), there was no washing machine, and on top of the high price of the apartment, parking was an extra cost. Moreover, as the car park is open and there are no signs, other people continuously went inside and parked in our spot, or blocked us with their cars. We had to chase them, calling people to come and remove their car. This was frustrating and waste of time, and the extra cost also did not make any sense. In any case, ours was a short stay, but if longer, these would have been more serious issues. Communication was excellent though and very quick to respond. Thank you

Wasn’t the best. While it was recently refurbished the layout was odd and not functional. The 3rd bedroom is so small it doesn’t have a wardrobe let along a spot too even put a suit case or clothes, there is no dining table and no where to set up a laptop. The clothes horse was so small when you put clothes on it the touched the floor so was useless, the showers had no shelf so all the shampoo and soap just sits on the ground, the toilet brushes were not functional and don’t work, a few of the windows look over public housing and there are no blinds or curtains there so people just look in and you look at them. Also parking is available but not till after you book that you find out this is an extra charge, was a bit of a nightmare with parking. Some of the good though, It is super close to the beach, shops, bars, cafes etc. and while the refurbishment wasn’t totally useless, it was still nice and had a couple of good TV’s, beds were comfy and plenty of linen and towels provided, kitchen worked well. Overall it would be good for a few days but not long stays, the 3rd bedroom was very small so you would not want to put an adult in it and watch out for the extra charge to park.
