Gorgeous boutique hotel, absolute beach front in the quiet part of gold coast. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The management are so accommodating and helpful.

Cool retro 1960s feel Hotel. Based on the beach, the rooms are renovated and have everything you need. A nice bar enables you to have a drink of choice and either go to the pool, or the loungers that look toward the beach. Is a few km from the airport which is handy, but this doesn't cause any noise issues of note. Took a punt with a last minute booking, and glad we did. Would happily stay again.

What a vibe! Exactly what you see in the photos. You can hear the beach, feel the retro vibe. Staff are just incredible, accomodating. Hire bikes from Motel and head south for an adventure. Sunrise & sunset surround the motel, beach at your door step, coffee in the mornings, plenty of great eateries. Highly recommend Tessa’s beautiful little slice of heaven!

Absolutely loved Tessa's on the Beach!! Loved the upgrade & all the beautiful finishes on this gorgeous retro boutique Hotel. Loved that it was right on the beach., with the bikeway out front to take us to all locations easily. The staff were amazing, they even took the time to walk us to our room you only have to text & they'll deliver a gorgeous cocktail to your room! Such a beautiful hotel in comparison to all of the very tired looking high rise! Would definitely highly recommend.

A lovely little property and very tastefully decorated rooms. Loved the complimentary bikes and access to approx 10km of beachfront cycleway right out the front. Jen on reception was lovely. Occupancy was very low when we were there (Thurs/Fri nights in May) so the property lacked a bit of ambience in terms of no other guests using facilities, but I’m sure the warmer months will get busy. Perhaps reducing the price-point (which is admittedly quite high for a converted motel) would attract more guests in the meantime..

Loved this charming boutique motel! Our oceanfront room was perfect — comfortable bed, great value, and a prime central location. It was the ideal little getaway. We really appreciated the bonus perks: onsite parking, bike hire, and super friendly staff. The daily happy hour from 4–6 was a great touch! Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet close to everything. Highly recommend!

Receptionist was great, what they dont tell you is that if you arrive after 8pm they charge your $50 per hour for waiting for you, too bad if you come in on a plane and its held up i have never been asked to pay for such a thing, Also the building can be hard to find in the dark as it is not very well signposted. complementary breakfast is only for Friday and Saturdays im sure the beachfront rooms are fantastic
