Excellent location, right near the beach, shops & restaurants. For 5 adults & 2 children the amenities within the apartment covered all bases. We would definitely stay there again. Key pickup is not at the property & is about a 10 minute walk. Parking at the property is for 1 vehicle only, but there is covered parking nearby.

Excellent property ! Some small cosmetic improvements would be good! eg. little paintwork here and there, fix main bathroom glass door, cover plates on some powerpoints, light above heater unit in living room ! None of these would stop us staying in room 269 again though ! Very good place for a holiday !!

In my 20 years of travel, I’ve never written a negative review. I just take the good with the bad and move on. However, I feel compelled to advise anyone considering this property to move on. In good news, it is well located, spacious and does look mostly as pictured. But that is where the good news ends. I won’t go into every negative detail but I will share two things you must know: 1) The unit is not affiliated with Breakfree who is the primary property manager so no front desk service will be extended to you. 2) The after hours check in process is a joke. Long story short I arrived at 9pm and ended up having to pay for a nights stay at the hotel next door because I did not receive a pin to the lock box which is a 10 min walk away from the property. After requesting reimbursement several times, the owners simply ignored my emails for the duration of my stay though I put in a maintenance request for someone to close the windows as they were rusted open and cockroaches were coming in. Suffice it to say, the place is far from luxury. AVOID!

It was great. Firstly the price was fantastic, about half the cost of equivalent hotels in surfers paradise. The apartment was well furnished and clean. Communication from HRSP was good, everything was seamless. We will definitely book with HRSP again.

Property was close to beach and walkable to all local attractions with plenty to do. Only downfall is the lack of basics. Hand wash, more than 1 toilet roll, and kitchen staples like salt, pepper etc

Decent apartment which could have been much better

Hard to know what to say about this stay - we stayed in the 2 bed room as a family of 4. First impressions of the room itself were great - it looked modern, clean and really functional. However we found numerous small issues during the stay (bedroom 2 door did not close properly for example). None of them were a massive issue but spoke to a property in need of better maintenance - it was summed up by the fact that there were 2 clocks in the apartment both of which had stopped as the batteries were dead. It was also mousy at times with the nearby building site starting work at 6.30 each day and noise from the road outside audible in the room (probably because two of the windows didn’t shut properly) It was also a surprise to see an instruction that the cleaners didn’t clean the kitchen and so we had to leave the kitchen “sparkling for the next guest”. Not quite the holiday vibe we were looking for ! That said all of these things were small irritations rather than major issues - we enjoyed our stay and if you’re looking for something in Surfers then this is still a decent choice

The best thing about this property is the ocean view, the beach view was amazing. Inside has the potential to be nice if it was better maintained. There was a screw on the kitchen floor when we arrived, the bathroom door in the king bed bedroom was out of order and there was either chest hairs or pubic hairs on the ceiling in the main bathroom which was a bit unsettling. Topped off with no WIFI available when I rang and was told that they should have it only to ring on our trip with no recollection of the call and say they will be installing it the next day only to cancel it at the end of the day which made my sisters husbands business calls and work that much more difficult. Lastly, parking is not the best there, for a 3 bedroom apartment they only allocate one car park so it was disappointing and stressful trying to find another park for my other car as all the street parking is only 1-2 hours paid parking during the day until 7pm so during the day you need to find a reasonably priced parking lot which is a few blocks away. Overall, we didn’t let these setback ruin our trip but would not come back for another holiday at The Moroccan.
