Glamping in the She Shed

This quant little tiny house has all you will need to get away from home. One full size bed, two twins which are both in the same loft, and a murphy bed that is a queen. As you step outside here the sound of crickets , frogs ,all the night creatures God has provided for the music. Kids will love Sand, shells, and beach chairs for them to play in.
Enjoy the campfire.
Kids love the play house. Also corn hole an horse shoes.
These cabins do not have running water but hot cold water dispenser. With a men an women’s bath house everyone shares. Equipped with all you will need.
The space
We sit within 25 miles of Mammoth Cave. Barren river lake. Dino world. And a escape room.
30 miles from Corvette museum, Trampoline world, An Bowling Green itself
6 miles from the Stripe of down town Glasgow. There you will find Ralphies fun center several parks a movie theater an lots of places to eat. Don’t want to cook on our many types of ways to prepare a meal. Call SOKY they will deliver here from numerous restaurants an it’s always hot when it arrives.
Guest access
Guests share a large fire pit. Bath house, which is like stepping into your own bathroom
Other things to note
Trampoline for the older kids an a bouncy house is available for the little ones. As the garden grows guest can pick tomatoes or whatever is hanging on the vines.
Fresh eggs Need a dozen just let us know. FREE OF COURSE plus you will receive a free bag of marshmelows and all the firewood you can burn

The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. Glamping is where it's at.

Glamping at its best!

My 2 14 year old daughters and I had an amazing time here! Peggy was amazing to work with. Everything was as stated and more. They made sure we were very comfortable and had everything. Peggy went out of her way to make it the best stay possible. We will likely come back again or at the very least let others know about it.

Eclectic and Fun

We enjoyed our stay here! We were scheduled for She Shed but we were moved to Peace of The Valley as it was not quite ready and it was great for our kids! A better space actually so it was an upgrade. Lots of space and so much to do outside. So many toys for the kids, games and movies. You can tell they love kids and care that they enjoy the stay which helps so much. So many places are geared towards adults and it’s nice to see people that take the time to prepare special places for children and families. The kids could have stayed and played games and on the playground all day. Everything is “born again” so things are in used condition (especially kids stuff that takes a beating) but it made it interesting and unique. We appreciated the fresh eggs and all the little details of the space. Nice and quiet sleep and just the sound of cows mooing in the morning. Thanks for a great memorable stay!

Relaxing, peaceful, comfortable

Peggy was a wonderful hostess. She made sure that we had everything we needed and that we were as comfortable as we could be. The property was beautiful and the setting was so peaceful. It was far enough out of town to feel like you were far in the country but close to all of the nearby attractions. The beds were soft and comfortable. The fresh produce from the garden was delicious.

Great place to stay for caving

The owner is very nice and accommodating. You’ll be about 30 mins from all the caves and there are some restaurants and grocery stores within 15 minutes. The Man Cave was clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It’s a fun and cheaper alternative to a hotel.

Fun and outside-the-box experience!

I was looking for a unique experience with my first vacation alone with my kids. The She Shed didn’t disappoint! With each room having a unique theme and a lot of kid-friendly activities, such as the Kid cave, trampoline, swing set. Peggy was so accommodating and friendly, doing activities with my kids, washing our dishes, etc. She went above and beyond, when I forgot to pack my kids stuffed animals, she shipped them to me. The only criticisms I have are that the Kids Cave (a small playhouse with loads of toys) was a bit cluttered and unkept when we arrived and the railing in the loft beds we slept in could use another look. All in all, a really fun stay and I hope to bring the kids back in the future!

This is the most unique property I’ve ever stayed at. Such a peaceful getaway and the owners were great. I really wanted to meet the infamous Peggy because she was so sweet in the phone but her husband Tony was just as kind. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

We came over-prepared, but Peggy had thought of everything to provide for our stay. She went out of her way to continually ensure everything was going well with our stay, and was very kind in general. The grounds are common to 3 sheds but there is plenty of room/activities/firepits to allow for privacy. We brought our two daughters, 3 months old and almost 2 years old, and they were both comfortable and the older one had a blast the whole time. It is almost like a little wonderland for a toddler. If she was a little older she would likely have had even more fun sleeping in one of the two lofts in the shed. I dont write reviews, but for this place I felt I just had to. This "glamp" ground was perfect for our family to have both the camping experience and the comfort needed for babies. But really, I believe anyone could have fun here. Peggy also has good suggestions for local food and entertainment.

I cannot believe this showed up on my looking for a hotel. This was absolutely perfect. The owner takes special care for individuals. She gifted us with fresh eggs from her chickens, that my grandkids loved chasing. There is so much for kids to do, they never get bored. Wish I stayed longer, next time we will for sure.

We loved staying here!

Cool little place with lots of interesting things to look at and the sweetest hosts ever. Loved the area and enjoyed our stay immensely. Feel like we have new friends for life now!
