The staff were very friendly and kind and the hotel was spotless. It was quiet and tucked away but Sauchiehall St was 2 mins away and you could walk to Kelvingrove park and gallery. I would stay there again.

We had a very nice stay there. The house is conveniently located and was easy to get to and to get around from. Take the full breakfast as it is VERY generous and will get you through the day of hiking the streets, many of which are steeper than you might think,

Amazing breakfast.

The only complaint i have is that the TV was not working,I must say the breakfast was amazing, probably the best I've ever had in a hotel.

Great location!

It was a wonderful stay, centrally located in the city with plenty to do and plenty to see in the direct area. I took the liberty to walk to and from locations while I stayed here and highly enjoyed the city and the location of this stay. Towards the end of my trip, I felt as though I really knew the city! The staff is kind and the quality of my room was immaculate. Highly recommend!

the hotel was difficult to find , it resembled a youth hostel , the photos on the web site resembled nothing like it in real life , i saw mice , avoid ay all costs

Nice character property, well situated and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a budget room which was fine apart from the shower which had a curtain; a shower screen would be an improvement. Nice towels. We liked that tea and coffee making facilities were in the room.

All of the staff at the Victoria House were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early due to the overnight train, they stored all our bags for us. We had a lot of large suitcases and we were reassigned another room on the ground floor so we did not have to take them all upstairs. The hit cooked breakfast was delicious.

The property was good no problems no tea or coffee in room but kettle and cup bed was clean and comfy would definitely stay again, bathroom had a funny smell and definitely needs up dated broken tiles on the floor not foot for bare feet in the dark but over all good night stay

Está bien situado, el personal es muy amable y atento. Se respira tranquilidad. La habitación que disfruté era cálida y cómoda. Sus desayunos son estupendos. El único inconveniente que pondría son sus escaleras exteriores e interiores. Al ser una casa victoriana supongo que es difícil poner rampas y ascensores sin romper con su estilo arquitectónico. Pero en mi opinión habrá que sacrificar algo para disfrutar también de este aspecto.

Attentive staff makes a difference

I appreciated the rapidity with which the staff responded to my issues. For example, on two occasions I had no hot water, but they resolved it within 5 minutes. I appreciated the peace of mind that came with having a 24-hour reception desk.
