Morningside Suite

Enjoy a peaceful experience at this centrally-located attached suite. There is a private deck for views of beautiful Bay De Noc. The apartment sleeps two privately or 4 with the sleeper sofa. Stay with us for slow mornings watching the sunrise or late nights counting shooting stars. We are located between Gladstone and Escanaba right next door to The Terrace Hotel, Freshwater Tavern, and Biggby Coffee.
The space
This guest suite is like your own studio apartment: Private entrance to a mud room, full service kitchen, dining space, living room, bedroom with desk space and a full closet, and a full bathroom. It’s just a short walk to the back yard for beautiful views of Lake Michigan. This is a bird watcher’s paradise!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute, clean, and cozy suite. Watching the sunrise each morning from the deck was gorgeous and peaceful! The water pressure in the shower is great! The suite was easy to find and in a great location. The bonus sweet treats were amazing! We would definitely stay here again in the future when we come to the area!

Great place

This is my third time staying here and I always recommend it. It’s very well kept, always clean and welcoming and close to a great restaurant and coffee shop. Located on a quiet street offers nice walks at the end of the day, along with a great view of the water.

Comfortable and affordable

The studio room was comfortable. The furniture and appliances were relatively new or in excellent condition. The floor was vinyl plank. The bathroom has a retro feel, but the tub and sink area are in great shape. Minor improvements could be made, such as eliminating the occasional popping noise from the floors when the heat kicks in and the floors seem to expand slightly. The electrical connections of the TV, refrigerator and microwave need separate hardwired outlets and not extension cords. A box of Kleenex would be nice along with instructions for operating the TV (and new batteries fort he remotes). I would stay there again. The location is quiet, except for the annoying floor popping issue.

Perfect home away from home

Property is located close to town and 1 hour from Munising which has tons to do and so much beauty. The drive back and forth was plenty doable and beautiful scenery along the way. The VRBO is very clean and very comfortable. Walk next door for food and or coffee Definitely a five star ⭐️

Excellent little place

The apartment was very clean and was equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The host were very nice and easy to get ahold of. They were even thoughtful enough to leave a pie in the fridge for us. Very nice.
