「Es ist ein liebevolles traditionelles Hotel mit aufwendigen Holzdecken und dicken Steinwänden. Es war für eine Nacht eine kleine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt und alles ist fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Wir hatten etwas Schwierigkeiten das Parkhaus zu finden, aber der junge Mann vom Hotel hat uns persönlich dorthin gebracht und alles hat reibungslos geklappt. 」

「Tough to get to but nice parking area. Google Maps takes you the wrong way so lookout. My room heater didn’t work and the lights in the bedrooms area didn’t work so had to depend on the glow from the bathroom light which did work. One of two small night stands didn’t work and the one that did had a short circuit so it went on and off. Breakfast was really weak but a very nice effort. This is a small place so it’s great if your expectations are in proper alignment. Location is fantastic....

「We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!」

We paid for the laundry service and got it back the next morning, all folded and neat for us. She also let us park out front and keep our parking place several hours after we had checked out so that we could tour the Gjirokaster castle. 「Restaurant und Bar waren geschlossen. Die Rezeption war nur notdürftig besetzt. Parkplatz war in einer neuen Tiefgarage, die noch nicht fertiggestellt war. Die Anfahrt war schwierig. Man musste über eine Baustelle zum Eingang gehen, eine Hilfe zum Transport der Koffer wurde nicht angeboten. So nicht!!!!!!!!! 」
