Clean and comfortable

Hotel was clean and desk staff efficient and friendly. Room was Ok but no in-room coffee. Dinner was disappointing. Food was OK, service was not as friendly as front desk. Slightly condescending and very reluctantly performed. Felt more like Paris than beachfront hotel in Italy.

The hotel is really “Grand!” Eventually, it will be updated for aesthetic reasons. But, for now - everything is functional and looks good, even though,- not very modern looking. But, everything is kept clean and tidy.marble stairs, high ceilings. Large rooms, wide balconies. Decent mattresses, refrigerator.

This property used to be at a top level. The service, food and cleanliness are still good but not at a 4 star level and certainly not for the price they are wanting. The rooms are very dated and back to a time ( maybe some of you can remember) when expensive hotels bought the early LCD TVs and they were 13” but that was amazing back in the mid 1990’s. those TVs have not been updated and since. Nor the Channel lists to include English. All in all, great service and beach access is the only thing to write about here.

Grand Hotel Don Juan, in ways you were grand and it ways you were forgotten. Don't get me wrong, I would stay here again - the prices were beyond reasonable and the access to the private beach and pool access was amazing. However, the room needed some TLC - mostly just the shower. The first day we took a shower, the shower head flew off and I was left being sprayed with a water hose. Did I tell the staff, I did. Were they alarmed, they were! Did they do anything about it? They did not - for 4 days we showered with a water hose and twice the cleaning staff cleaned the room and saw the detached shower head sitting by the towels. Second, the coffee machine at breakfast produced the most acidic coffee - I stopped drinking coffee in favor of tea. But the breakfast was decent and included in the price of the room. However, the website said the resort fee would be per accommodation and the price quoted by Expedia was per room - but at the time of check out the resort fee was charged for double occupancy. Still, it was only 7.20€ per day - I can't really complain about that. Also on Expedia, it's called the resort fee at check out it's called the club card. Just an fyi. What else, the cafè staff were lovely, they added an extra beer to our tab that we didn't order, but there were plenty of freebies at apertivo, I am not so upset about the extra 6€. At the end of the day, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at, but there are things the hotel could do to improve.

Great hotel, on the beach. A classical, large vintage hotel, with traditional values and Italian heritage and service. Top quality front desk, breakfast staff and what a fantastic location. Dieses Hotel gleicht einem Horror Haus. Das Mobiliar ist vom letzten Jahrhundert und blättert überal ab. Alles ist sehr dreckig. Im Bad fand ich Urinspuren an den Wänden,die Badewanne hat gar keinen Belag mehr auf der Amature. Sehr ringhörig,sehr laut. Das Frühstück fällt eher einfach aus. 2 Lifte die nicht recht funktionieren für so viele Zimmer. Das Personal ist freundlich. Kein WLAN in den Zimmern. Einzig gutes, der Strand über die Strasse. Ich werde nicht mehr in dieses Hotel gehen, lieber 200-300 Euro mehr bezahlen,dafür sauber

Grand Hotel vicino al mare con camere ampie, molto grandi, con (per quanto riguarda noi almeno) vista mare con una bel terrazzino abitabile fresco e bello. La struttura dell’albergo è da migliorare perché è rimasta ancora ai tempi che furono e la clientela mediamente ha un’età piuttosto avanzata. La colazione continentale con servizio veramente efficace e professionale ma da rivedere sui prodotti e sulla qualità. I letti comodi con un buon materasso che rende il soggiorno veramente confortevole. Neo non da poco e che invito l’albergo a rimediare immediatamente, è la privacy, perché le camere a volte sono comunicanti con una porta e non sono affatto insonorizzate, tanto da poter sentire completamente le conversazioni dell’altra persona nella stanza adiacente. Immaginatevi se ci fosse una coppia o altro, magari una famiglia con bambini accanto, il soggiorno sarebbe invivibile. Prego immediatamente l’albergo a risolvere questa situazione, per i clienti futuri, perché siamo al limite della privacy.

Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber, eben so wie von einem Gast erwartet. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und auch bei dem Zimmer gibt es keinerlei Beanstandungen. Hotel liegt unmittelbar gegenüber dem Sandstrand. Optimal! Die Küche ist einfach aber geschmacklich gut. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Grand Hotel nur noch groß?

Die Matratze war durchgelegen, der Balkon mit Algen verdreckt, Fenster aussen müssen dringend gestrichen werden. Die Poolzeiten werden nicht eingehalten und man muss für ein Strandtuch extra zahlen.Am Strand bekam man nur widerwillig Liegen. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich.
