"Simply wonderful experience. The Grand Hotel is family owned and almost everyone participates. They are at the front counter one day and serving you food at the hotel restaurant that evening. The hotel is based on providing a wonderful spa experience. We didn't get a massage but used the sauna's, indoor [colder] pool, the outdoor [hotter] water pool with multiple water jets, and the lounge rooms and loved them all. The minuses; we didn't have a car and the hotel is way to far above the town to walk so we had to pay 20 Swiss Francs for a cab each way to go to the city, no air conditioning and we were in the middle of a heat wave. The hotel did provide us with a huge rolling fan which combined with opening our window was able to draw in the cool air from outside to help us sleep. The town is beautiful and the horology museum [our purpose for going] was fantastic."

"We had a wonderful week at the house. The house was really gorgeous- better than we had anticipated. The pictures don’t really show just how beautiful it is. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pools is delightful and the surrounding area is magnificent. The views are breathtaking. Sunset on the balcony is just perfect. We loved our stay and will definitely return. (great stay for our dog too- really convenient) . Many thanks, Anne"

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."

"Clean, nicely renovated, comfy bed, spacious room, nice staff. Only one thing: when there is a heatwave, it would be necessary to have access to ice-cubes -- truly it would not be a luxury at all.
