Enhanced Basics and Affordable Stay

We have been stopping at this Travelodge for many years on our way north and south. It’s convenient and very affordable. The rooms are clean and offer the important amenities of coffee pot, good size refrigerator, iron/board, TV and microwave. It’s in a quiet location not far off I-81.

Nice stay

Pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Room was well kept and clean. Had a balcony with small table and 2 chairs. Only downfall was a small shower and shower head didn’t work well.

We only stayed one night on our way to gettysburg. We got there about 10:30 so we just wanted to sleep. The balcony was a pkus in the morning to sit and drink coffee before heading out. Over all would definitely stay there again.

The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were kind and attentive. The Mexican restaurant downstairs does great tacos. The location means truck noise which can be mitigated by air conditioning fan on constant. As I was travelling alone, I felt a bit nervous about the location - it is basic.

I have been going to this motel for more than 10 years when I visit Chambersburg. The manager and staff have always been friendly and willing to provide whatever is needed. The place is spotlessly clean. The motel is old but has been remodeled and has an elevator. The rooms have coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and safe. They do not provide breakfast but there are nearby restaurants that have full menus, in my mind a better option than the limited choices at other motels in the area. there is no gym, no pool, no conference room, but I don't need those amenities. I am happy with an inexpensive motel where I can comfortably sleep and wake up with coffee in my room.

The property was clean with no nasty rugs. The bathroom was in need of some work in the tile around the shower. The toilet flapper chain fell off and we had to reach in the tank to pull it up to flush it. The staff were nice and the bedroom immaculate. But some areas were a little “tired”.

Great value

This hotel is a very good value. It is a classic multilevel motor inn. I found my room to be very clean and perfect for one or two people . I had two challenges. One was with the bed, which tended to shift on me since it was on a hard floor and not carpet. The other was the shower, which was not quite high enough for someone over 5 foot 5 or so. It is super convenient and quiet for being by the street.
