"We had a late evening arrival and there were lights to follow along the stepping stone path and a motion light by the back entry door to the rental. The space is perfect for two or a small family and is very quiet and private. We had breakfast on the back deck which was lovely. There was an equipped studio kitchen which allowed us to eat in or prepare a sack lunch for on-the-go. We walked to the Jones Falls trailhead and walked it all the way to Mt. Washington village and back . The quiet neighborhood is fun to explore by walking or biking. There is the Luckman Park a few blocks away with outdoor play equipment. We relied on family and friends for transportation but you would want a car or use the lightrail. Lindsay with her knack for decorating made the interior space bright and cozy, this was a perfect 3 night stay! "

"We stayed in this beautiful and very comfortable house with family ( 7 adults and 1 baby) for 8 nights. The location is an excellent base to be able to easily get into Baltimore and surrounding areas. The home is beautifully decorated and the living area and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. We will choose this lovely home if it is available the next time we are up this way. Thank you Pete and Maura for being really wonderful hosts!"

"I booked this property for my husband‘s birthday. It’s in a very nice quiet neighborhood. It has surrounding shopping areas little convenience, stores like Royal Farms 7-Eleven and other businesses. The stay inside was very comfortable and relaxing, cozy and clean. The host was very well with his communication, I loved it "

"Due to the inaccurate statements of a safe neighborhood, amenities in working order and lack of communication back from the host, my family left the house staying 60 minutes total.
I asked months ago about location and safety of the stairs. Communication from the host was not returned and in the end the bedrooms and single bathroom is upstairs. Stairs are slightly unkept. Not ideal for an older mother that has trouble with stairs. I would have cancelled reservation if communication was returned months ago, deeming not ideal for my family's needs.
Dryer not working.
Despite the house listing title, this is a very rough neighborhood, cops on corner while family there for the short time. My family did not feel safe staying there and the possibility of car theft.
Neighbors had fire alarm beeping continuously every few minutes. I asked the host if he could contact the neighbors, and the response was to call 911 if an emergency. No one can sleep with a fire alarm beeping continuously.
Host had no response or help for my concerns. When I notified the host that we left the house and would not be staying the 4 nights, I was given an "okay, safe travels" response.
I would have liked to work with the host, but it didn't seem like there was going to be any beneficial result. Certainly, no help in a refund. "
