I just loved the cottage!!Loved the setting over looking the lake with trees all around, the interior layout,the windows that let in lots of light,the ceiling height, the perfect kitchen with everything that you needed,the comfortable beds and the overall coziness.

The staff was most excellent and the pool was most cold, as to be expected for mid-October. Any issues, such as no hot water in my cabin, were spelled out by Diane and brushed off by me as of no concern. Install a (plastic) ladder on the dock and I will return

Nice big cabin, pleasantly surprised. The pool was a little cold, but overall great location. They had majority of the things we needed already in the cabin. Only thing missing was paper towel.

It’s a lovely place to stay with family and friends! 😊 Your experience may vary depending on the time of year you visit, but we really enjoyed staying in the cozy little cabins, especially since the weather was a bit chilly and we were there just for a day. If you’re planning a visit, don’t forget to bring your badminton rackets, table tennis equipment, football, or any other outdoor games. There’s plenty of space near the lake to enjoy your favourite activities. You can also try canoeing and kayaking while you’re there! I’d definitely recommend staying for at least two days to explore all the facilities and activities the place has to offer. The communal fire pit is another highlight, where everyone can gather, relax, and enjoy the evening together. Overall, it was a wonderful staycation and a great spot to unwind and spend quality time with loved ones. Definitely worth a visit! 🌿🔥

A simple, practical place to stay. Great for young families looking for an easy alternative to camping. Refreshing pool, volleyball court, fire pit and ping pong! My kids had a blast.

For the value it was clean and comfortable, we had the traditional cabin which had full waterfront views from the raised large deck. The pool was clean and there are several bbqs and lots of muskoka chairs to relax by the water. Make sure you drive further down the road to checkout the local lock and marina with multiple options for restaurants.

I can’t recommend and would not return. The maintenance staff and remote manager were helpful and accommodating. They moved us to another upgraded cottage when our cabins roof leaked so kudos to the staff, however it is clear (by the sign) that the new owner bought it to tear it down and build condos.

We loved the pool and the easy access to the water toys like kayaks and paddle boards. They supplied the life jackets which was helpful and supplied all the linens, towels and even provided soap and shampoo. It is a beautiful firepit and nice sandy volleyball pit. There isn’t swimming off the dock, as the water is full of reeds but the water is clean and lots of opportunities to go out into deeper water to swim. We loved it!

The 1-bedroom cabin was great...spacious-all the necessary amenities one would need for a short getaway. However, the outdoor deck was worn...needs an overhaul. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are old and dirty. The hotel offers a great variety of boating options-canoes, paddle-board, paddle boats, and the swiimming pool is wonderful. The water in front of the hotel is not really suitable for swimming, but Port Severn Beach is just around the corner-you can paddle or walk there. Overall, a lovely, quiet getaway away from the city.
