"The only good thing about the hotel was the location being next to interstate and shopping center. They didn’t have a king suite available. I accepted the double bed suite. The double bed suite was missing the door that separates the rooms. It smelled like smoke. There was no elevator so you had to carry all your belongings up the stairs. The pool was not open. The most concerning thing was that I needed to ask for a new key to my room. I told her my room number, she asked zero questions and didn’t verify who I was. If you stay at this location, use your own locks or keep the door latched. Anyone could get a key to your room. The room was a downgrade. I wasn’t offered a discounted rate. There was an additional hold placed on my card that I may not get back."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga North - Hixson

"They do have a breakfast bar which is somewhat decent, the hot food mainly consisted of biscuits, smoked sausage, eggs, and some potato’s it stayed the same the entire 3 days, the doors get stuck when you walk in so you have to push them open, our room definitely needed some work and was pretty dirty, room service never brought our trash out once so it was over flowing by day 3, the room also had trash on the floor when we arrived, the couch in our room looked really dingy and could really use a cleaning, they did replace our towels though, but they never cleaned the room once. The pool was shut down because of to many people in the pool so we were only able to go once, the guy on our checkin day wasn’t very friendly, but I will say the other younger guys working at the front were very sweet, friendly, and helpful! I’d give them a 2 out of 5 because of the guys working the desk, I honestly don’t think I will stay at à la Quinta Inn again, the rooms look nothing like the photos, the lobby is pretty clean but the toilet in the lobby was out of order and full of poop the entire 3 days and the roof in the lobby was leaking during the rain, the elevator sounds like it was ganna break and there is only 1, they could defiantly use some maintenance and repairs! For over $100 a night i feel like motel 8 would’ve been the same experience for a better price."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland near Lee Univ

"We expected more from a La Quinta brand hotel. While the hotel was readily accessible from the highway with ample parking, our room was outdated, old, and musty. I guess the hotel replaced the door openers as they were stiff and clumsy often resulting in our hitting the door hard upon entry. The bathroom smelled of urine and this may be due to the overhead fan not working and/or a mildewed shower curtain. It did "appear" clean. We cannot rate the breakfast as this was only served from 6 to 9. We stayed here for a couple of nights and did not need to get up this early. It would have been nice had breakfast remained until at least 10am. Check in and Check out were easy. Staff was friendly."

"My recent stay at the Residence Inn Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place had a mix of positives and areas that clearly need improvement. Overall, the room felt outdated and could have been maintained much better. Cleanliness was a noticeable concern. Several appliances appeared worn and not well cared for, including visible dents on both the toaster and refrigerator. The coffee maker also looked like it had been used by a previous guest and hadn’t been properly cleaned, which led me to avoid using it altogether. In the suite, one of the tubs had a pink stain near the drain, which added to the overall impression that housekeeping standards may need improvement. Additionally, upon check-in, it was difficult to get assistance locating a missing iron. While the front desk was notified, the process wasn’t as smooth as expected. Breakfast was decent and fairly consistent throughout the morning, which was a positive aspect of the stay. Another item to note is that the front doors are locked after 11 PM, requiring guests to be buzzed in by the front desk. While this initially felt unusual, I understand it is likely in place for safety and security reasons. In summary, while the location and some aspects like breakfast were acceptable, the overall condition and cleanliness of the room, along with some service gaps, made the stay less comfortable than expected. With better upkeep and attention to detail, this property has the potential to provide a much better guest experience."
