The hotel is gorgeous and located right on the water in walking distance of all Georgetown attractions. It is a grand hotel in every sense - luxurious, comfortable and with a wonderful staff. A great place to stay in Penang.

A delightful step back into the charm of traveling in the past. Like Raffles in Singapore, this hotel will bring you back to the time when travel felt like living abroad. Our room was beautiful, a suite opening up onto the garden next to the waters edge. The room is beyond comfortable and quiet, a beautiful experience. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is quiet and spacious. The breakfast is delicious, we had one of the best Nasi Gorengs here. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in George Town.

We had a wonderful stay at the E&O hotel, the surroundings were lovely and it had such an old school luxury charm. All dining areas were lovely and the club lounge for cocktail hour added something extra special.
