BED BUGS!!! The entire place is infested with bed bugs! The hotel’s management states that upon inspection they only found bed bugs in one room and only one person was bitten!! They are offering to only refund one room. Meanwhile there were five of in 3 rooms. The bed bugs were crawling all over the walls my step daughter, her friend and I all have bites. We immediately packed up and left. Unable to properly safe guard our other belongings. We had to be left homeless in the middle of Amsterdam forced to wear clothing that was not clean, unable to shower unable to check into another hotel for hours because check in is not until 3 pm. The management’s response was that the other two rooms had no evidence of the bed bugs. Bed bugs don’t just stay in one room! The place is completely infested!!! You could see them crawling out from behind the headboard! Crawling all of over us. No one would just stay after seeing what we all saw. We did not stay the other nights. I just wanted a refund and move on from the experience. Now I’ve had to find another hotel, while we are basically homeless in a rental car in a foreign country for the first time, be terrified that they are in all of our clothes. Unable to clean our bodies, clothes safe guard all of our belongings. Now we are home trying to protect our homes. DO NOT STAY HERE. Will never be staying here again… $700 for 2 nights was a HUGE MISTAKE! Room was extremely small, the bathroom is even worse. Shower has no door or curtain so water goes EVERYWHERE INCLUDING ALL OVER THE TOILET. The pillows are the worst I have experienced, hard as a rock and 18 inches tall. Strange choice by owner… the first night someone downstairs pulled the fire alarm the entire hotel had to evacuate we all stood on the sidewalk for one hour waiting for the owner to show up. The staff is only on site from 9am-5pm after that good luck. This place should be $100-$150 a night max. Lesson learned!
