Superbly placed for trams and buses and with the Geneva card you get free travel. Parking is comparable to other car parks but has the advantage that it is secure and directly under the hotel. Wish now I had booked for an extra day or two

Good budget hotel for a short stay in Geneva. There was no aircon or hairdryer but it didn’t affect our stay too much. The room was well maintained and bus stops close by for travel into the city

The room was tiny- but it was correctly advertised. This was the first day of our trip and we did not know it would actually be the best shower we encountered. The showers around the rest of Switzerland were leaky, at best. We mainly found bathtubs everywhere. We knew there was no air-conditioning, but we’re surprised by how warm the room was during the day. The breakfast and coffee was very good. The bus ran right in front of the hotel, so getting around was easy.

The standard double room at Ibis Budget Lancy in Geneva, is spacious and has a really comfortable bed. The toilet is placed in a cubicle next to the entrance door and separate from the shower. Gel, towels, and a bathroom mat are provided. Nothing fancy, in other words, but well worth the price. You also have trams and buses on your doorstep and are given a free travel pass for each day of your stay. This means you are 10 minutes from the High Street and 15 from the station. There is also a direct bus to the airport which takes you there in 20. The staff are welcoming and the bar downstairs pleasant.

One has to remember it is a "budget " hotel, therefore I rate it as such. Excellent value for money. Everything one needs is provided. Good tv with so much choice, good night sleep, efficient shower. Perfect stay.
