Spend your evening, kicking back around the firepit or indoors by the fireplace with a glass of wine or beer from a local winery or brewery. Bella Vista Cottages offers peaceful, tranquil and breathtaking views over Seneca Lake and scenic rural views all around the property.



Cayuga Cottage (twin of nearby Seneca Cottage) is an English style brick built cottage on 3 acres overlooking Seneca Lake. It has over 1400 sq ft of living area, 3 bedrooms (1 king room, 1 queen room with 1 twin, 1 full room with 2 twin beds) plus sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a basement with washing machine, dryer, a log effect gas fire, central air conditioning / heating throughout, hardwood floors, Smart TV and wi-fi access. 



Convenient location, just minutes from Hobart & William Smith College, National Parks, Belhurst Castle, Geneva on the Lake, Geneva Farmer's Market, Geneva Country Club and the Finger Lake Wine & Beer Trails. 25 Minutes from del Lago Casino, Premium Outlets, Women’s Rights National Historical Park. 45 Minutes from Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, Rochester and Syracuse Airports, and Watkins Glen. For those who enjoy cycling around the lakes, the roads provide easy to ride, scenic routes to travel.

A short but wonderful stay

Our Seneca 7 team stayed the night before the race. The cottage was perfect for our group to share dinner Saturday night, get hot showers, and enjoy a great night of sleep. It was sad to leave in the morning. Would have loved to enjoy the beautiful place longer. Would love to come back soon! Thank you to our hosts!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend !

My family of 6 adults stayed here for a Wedding at Belhurst Castle & Winery (just 3 miles away, about a 6 minute car ride). We recommend this spacious Cottage to anyone who wants to relax, enjoy the beautiful views and simply enjoy each others company. Plenty to do and see around the area, but, it's just as nice to stay "home", enjoy the firepit, throw the frisbee around and actually talk to each other . We all had a great time and would love to come back there again. Thank you Amy & Terri

Great home

Cayuga Cottage was a great location for our Seneca Lake visit. The house fit our family of 7 perfectly. The hosts were very accommodating and great to work with. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Fantastic Stay

We had a great weekend at this house. The check in process was super easy and the owner was really responsive with questions prior to our stay. The house was perfect: very clean, very comfortable and well stocked with kitchen products. We would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect for some local wineries and shops. Highly recommend.

Wedding weekend

Our family booked 3 of these houses all together. Great spot, we were just too busy with wedding stuff to enjoy the fire pit. My mom made apple sauce with fresh apples from the tree. Thank you!!

Nice quiet stay

The cottage was very nice and comfortable. It feels spacious inside and we really liked the bedrooms and the bathrooms on each floor. It had a good view of the lake and it was close to every place we wanted to visit. We hope to visit again!
