アイランドホッピングなどの案内をもう少し詳しくしてほしかった。ホテルでは1600pesoで、外部では2000pesoその違いが、よく理解できなかった。もう少し何も知らない旅行者にわかりやすく的確に案内してくれれば、と思います。

Ocean101は部屋が清潔で広々してて最高！

12/22から12/25までOcean101に滞在しました。ホテルはサーフィンエリアに近くて最高のロケーションでした。部屋は2階の角部屋で、レストランに近く、清潔で広々してました。部屋の掃除とタオルの交換は言わないとやってくれません。たまたま滞在期間中にホテル従業員のクリスマスパーティーが有。パーティーはレストランの2階で開催され、夜中の24時まで大音量で音楽を流していたので、うるさくて眠れませんでした。また、その日は事前連絡も無く、フロントが18時に閉鎖されたので、タオルの交換も出来ず。もう少しお客へ配慮をして欲しいものです。シャワーも水圧と水温がいまいちでしたが、合格点。全体的には良いホテルでした。

ホテルのレストランの若いマネージャーは、従業員に対して、接客やホール仕事についてしっかり指導しており、大変感心しました。しかしながら、それでもちゃんとした仕事が出来ない若いウエートレスがいて、オーダーを間違えても謝らなかったり、丁寧な応対が出来なかったり、彼女の対応にイラッとする事がありました。

The resort has really nice views of sunset every day, and it's so close to Cloud 9 so it's easy to surf. Check-in was really awkward and one of the front desk staff members seems to not want to be bothered, but housekeeping, security, and the restaurant staff are all friendly and helpful. The chill area along the water has a nice breeze and really nice to hang out for sunset.

The internet was terrible and the power went off frequently. Tha bathroom sink was broken and one waitress told me that she doesn’t like foreigners. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I didn’t like 💩💩💩

Nice rooms. Lovely grounds. Great location & views

Very nice place. Exactly as described. The room was recently renovated/painted during lockdown; spacious and in nice condition. Comfy bed. Outdoor balcony/verandah for the room is nice. Bathroom is a little dated in the configuration, but is large and comfortable and also newly painted etc. The main draw is the grounds and beach side location/view. The gardens are lovely and well maintained, with a large well kept lawn overlooking the water. The restaurant building is nice, open and airy. The staff were very attentive (I have seen other reviews saying the staff are not good, but during my stay there were many staff and they were all helpful, friendly and responsive). Food was good. A few minutes walk to the main surfing area. Overall: we were very happy with our stay. Many thanks Ocean 101!

AMAZING HOTEL

We had an amazing stay at this oceanfront hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The location is perfect - walking distance to the main surfing beach, restaurants, and stores. The hotel rooms and grounds are well maintained. The best thing is the rates are reasonable considering everything I've mentioned. My husband and I would certainly stay here again

Ocean 101 Beach Resort is a decent choice for Cloud 9 at Siargao. The rooms are basic but the ones facing the sea offer good views. The food is also basic but good enough. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Ocean 101 is my favorite resort near Cloud 9. It has a big property away from the noisy street and other resorts. The restaurant is a plus since it is right on the ocean and super good service. Thank you Ocean 101 for a great place for my vacation.

Nie wieder Ocean 101

Wir buchten das Honeymoon Zimmer. Im Zimmer fehlte es an fast allen! Kein Kleiderkasten! Nicht einmal eine Ablage. Es gab auch keinen Haken, wo wir etwas hätten aufhängen können. Auch für die Badetücher gab es keine Aufhänge Möglichkeit!!! Das Badezimmer hatte zwar eine grosse und schöne Badewanne, doch fehlte der Stöpsel. Der übrigens auch im Lavabo fehlte. Alles in allen sehr unzufrieden. Als wir dies an der Rezeption erwähnten, half man uns nicht weiter! das sein nun mal so!! Man hatte aber die Frechheit, einen höheren Preis zu verlangen, als wir weitere zwei Nächte buchen wollten, da wir nicht wieder auf Zimmersuche gehen wollten. Doch das war Zuviel und wir haben eine andere Unterkunft gesucht und auch in der Nähe gefunden, welche günstiger und besser war, Für uns ist klar, nie wieder Ocean 101. Positive kann ich nur die Freundlichkeit des Personals im Restaurant erwähnen. Ganz im Gegensatz zur Dame an der Rezeption!!

Other reviews are correct. The property has the best view of cloud 9. It's unbeatable. The rooms are very basic. We had a room with no exhaust for the toilet. Not even small window or exhaust fan. Never seen any toilet like that. Staff needs proper training. They are busy chatting or dancing rather than being attentive with guests/customer at the restaurant. They only work hard whenever the manager is around. The resort has a lot of potential, just need renovation and staff training.

beautiful property right next to cloud 9! easy walk or scooter ride into town (20 or 5 minutes respective) excellent and reasonably priced food and drink in the restaurant. right on the water! comfy bed, hot water a rare treat in the philippines, and 4 pillows!!!!! first time i have seen 2 pillows per guest here! we are hostel people and this hotel was an extravagant luxury for us. we truly enjoyed it

Beautifully situated by Cloud 9. The grounds are kept clean. Very quiet and has an amazing view of the water. Quite relaxing. The restaurant has an amazing patio. The food however is not the greatest as well as the service. The workers are quite young and not the most attentive. The staff are quite gossipy. Some of the staff were unaware that I understood what some of them were saying and they were talking negatively about myself and other costumers.

I loved the view of the water and palm trees. The location was great you could walk to surf about 2 minutes to cloud 9 and you could watch surfers at quicksilver and jacking horse. Close to get boats to other surf spots

Good location, bad service.

Good - location was 3mins walk to Cloud 9, good view of the sea esp during sunrise, a little sunset view. Grounds were spacious, no street level noise. There's an in-house restaurant / bar. Bad - thin walls, I booked the sea view deluxe room. I woke up at 3am my neighbors were packing and rushing to catch a boat, I could hear every knock and even footstep they made. Staff were generally unhelpful. Nobody offered to help with my bags as I was checking in and it was raining hard. The restaurant staff were un-attentive and didn't seem to have a service mindset. A neighboring table yelled at one waitress who was clearly avoiding customers. During checkout I had a prolonged back and forth with the cashier who said he didn't have change and didn't offer any solutions... out of frustration I said that I would be the one to walk to the resto to get change - and then he admitted that he did have change all this time, he just didn't want to use it and run out. It's my third time to stay here, I come back because of the location. In the future, I'll just avoid eating in their resto and have zero expectations from their staff.

The property itself is superb. The location is perfect for those who love to surf because the surfing spot is just a minute walk. I love walking around the property because of its cleanliness. If you really want to relax, I highly recommend this place. The only disappointing about my stay - the staff in the restaurant. I stayed here on non peak days so there aren't too many guests. Some days, it's just my partner and I dining at the restaurant. I don't really mind that they are dancing to maybe kill time or singing on top of their lungs but please, prioritise your guests. They are not friendly, doesn't smile when approaching guests. They need a bit of training in customer service. One night, we decided to have dinner on the garden side of the restaurant. Suddenly it started raining so my partner and I hurriedly went inside to save our food from the rain. No one from the staff helped us. They were just watching us run back and forth to bring all our plates inside the restaurant. There were like 5-8 of them just sitting on the couch, chatting and using their phones. I have no problem with the other staff. The ones at the reception are friendly and helpful. To the management, please do some actions about this. Especially that you have guests from around the world. that kind of attitude from staff is very unsatisfactory for the overall performance/rating of the hotel.
