Good hotel

Worst hotel experience of my entire life. When I think of Shila hotel I think of excellence as I have been accustomed on several trips to Korea with a previous night stay in Yeosu-that hotel is excellent. First that rooms need a make over-lot of cracks along the walls and ceiling. Next-no working AC. I had to open the window because the front desk manager stated to me that AC was shut off for the entire building even though the lobby, gym, and hallways had working AC. There was no notice of AC not working online or during check in. Next-laundry machine was not working because they did not connect the water to the machine and there was water leaking from under the machine. I almost slipped many times. I will say all of the staff was very respectful. My feedback to Shila hotel is if you cannot afford AC in your hotel please close your doors and spend money on the rooms and guest areas that make your hotel one of the best.

The hotel is in need of a thorough cleaning and renovation. The bathroom ceiling showed signs of water damage, and the cleanliness was very disappointing. I would strongly advise against looking under the sofa cushions, as what I found was absolutely disgusting. Hot water was also limited during peak hours, which made showering inconvenient. There were only two washing machines in the building, and one was out of order during my stay. Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing special. The biggest positive is the location, which is quite convenient. Unfortunately, the poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, and limited facilities detracted significantly from the overall experience. The hotel has potential, but it needs serious attention to cleaning and upkeep.
