Loved the sleeping areas and the ability to sleep several adults comfortably. The beds were comfortable. The arcade game screen/tv didn’t work. We messaged through VRBO about this due to having 6 teens in the cabin who wanted to play, but we got no response. There were two fridges in the kitchen, but neither one made ice. There were several stink bugs inside the cabin. The furnishings could use updates as the couches were peeling and the furniture was looking pretty beat up. The best part of the trip was seeing several bears each day. One was even right next to the cabin at the back deck. We all ran out and watched. The hot tub was a plus. It was good and hot, especially on the cold evenings.

The facility is good for the size of our group. The number of rooms. The furnishings are a bit dated for a rental of this stature. Disappointed in the kitchen items. No pitchers, we had to buy our own. The can opener was broken and had rust and food residue all over it. One of the dishwashers did not work from the moment we arrived, disappointed that the cleaning staff wouldn't notice that. It never got fixed and yes there are two dishwashers, but with a group of 15, one dishwasher did not accommodate all the dishes and no one wants to spend time on dishes on vacation. We had two thunderstorms and two of the upstairs bedrooms leaked from the ceiling and the windows, to the point we actually had to use bowls on the floor to catch the drips. Was looked at but not fixed during our stay. And multiple doors would not shut and stay shut. This was fixed during our stay.

Bigger Bear Lodge

Overall this was a fabulous property. We did have a couple of glitches, theater room tv never could hook up properly to dish so we never really were able to use that room as we had hoped. Also, the hot tub never would heat sufficiently. But on the positive side, the house is HUGE. Tons of room for everyone. 2 full sized refrigerators, two full sized stoves and microwaves, 2 large islands, 3 balconies overlooking Gatlinburg. We even had 3 bears come visit us almost every day, but they never bothered us and were fun to watch from the safety of our vacation home. Our neighbors however weren't so lucky, apparently the bears broke into their car and did some minor damage. (an important reminder to not leave ANY type of food in the car, even bubblegum!) Overall this was a fabulous vacation home and I would definitely consider renting it again.

Perfect for Family Thanksgiving

Fantastic views, plenty of room - House is well equipped and gave us plenty of sleeping options for our family get together. The double ovens, double kitchen islands, and double dining tables made it easy to seat everyone for a family meal.

Great Trip

This cabin was perfect for our team of 15 people. Perfect amount of space for everyone and a nice kitchen area for everyone to enjoy meals together. The view was amazing and also close to downtown.

Not a happy stay

Property is not clean and lady bugs all over the place in-side the house and also one of the bathroom shower was not functioned and realized during the usage of the bathroom and got fixed later in the day. And jacuzzi was not functioned and not able to use it at all. Overall my stay in the cabin is not pleasant and i paid highest cost. Entire group was upset and not happy.

Great views. Not great management.

First off, it was a lovely stay; however, there were things we were not satisfied with. Check in process was very frustrating. I reached out three times about an early check in with no response. We arrived at property 1hour prior to check in. The code didn’t work. I called the company and was told the cabin wasn’t inspected yet. We stayed outside with all our groceries and waited til after 4 (check in time) and no one ever came to inspect. We realized the back door was unlocked so we were able to get in. We noticed there was a pile of bear poop on the porch. There were no extra toilet paper rolls. So, when we ran out we were rolling some up from other bathrooms. The one tub was stopped up which made showers feel rushed as water quickly filled up around our feet.we never found the puck for the air hockey table. We had someone, who is not overweight, sit down on the bench on the porch and the bench broke. I reached out to the property owner multiple times with no response. As a group leader, I wasn’t impressed and won’t bring our group here again.

Pearson Reunion

Overall cleanliness less than average. Cigarette butts on porch and trash behind cabin. TVs in bedrooms wouldn’t connect to service. Two kitchen outlets on wall facing parking would trip breaker. Overall very good stay! Enjoyed the view and the bears!

The views are better than the pictures!!

The view is absolutely amazing!! Must be the best property in Gatlinburg. Many bear sighting, they weren’t aggressive though! House was more spacious than we expected, and had plenty of room for 10 adults and 4 kids. I can see how it sleeps 30!! Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms very clean. Kitchen had plenty of dishes. Plenty of table space so everyone could eat together, Kids loved the theatre, arcade games, air hockey, etc. Drive up was steep, but thankfully there is plenty of parking for everyone comfortably!! This cabin truly exceeded our standards!

Bigger Bear Cabin Trip

Best view we have ever had visiting Gatlinburg and we visit at least once a year. Saw bears almost every day. Pictures do not do this property justice. Clean, nice, roomy, and plenty of room for our group of 14. You are very high up so the road is a little adventurous getting to the property if you drive a large vehicle. We have a 15 passenger van. Awesome stay. View from deck is insane.

Family Thanksgiving

Large family gathering of 22 adults and 6 children. Fit all of us just fine with an extra sofa bed. Beautiful cabin with plenty to keep the kids of all ages happy. Kitchen was fully stocked with ever gadget needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner. Had a few mechanical items that needed attention. But the staff was extremely responsive in getting them fixed and the maintenance guy Brian was great!! Would definitely recommend this cabin and will book this cabin again!!

Great cabin

Cabin was at a good location and was in a great condition. Everyone loved their stay. There is enough room for 30 people and large patio decks are great. You can also see bears from the cabin!

Exceeded ALL expectations!!

This cabin was amazing!! It was super clean, nicely decorated, and had so much space! Our church group LOVED it. The view was absolutely beautiful. We even saw bears! Thank you so much for offering such a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience

This property is very close to Gatlinburg downtown. Views from the deck are excellent. We also enjoyed the drive to the property. We saw bears every day during our drive to and from the property. Kids enjoyed the amenities - pool table, air hockey, hot tub etc. Arcade games were a huge hit among the kids. Kitchen was adequately stocked up. It is a luxury home. Considering the high pricing, I expected a higher level of cleanliness. There were cobwebs in a couple of bathrooms. I was unable to connect home theater to internet. All TVs had dish connection but I was also unable to connect any TV to internet. Property management was prompt in addressing my questions. Overall, our family had an amazing experience.

Overall it was a good stay... towels were less and i did not see the facility for kids like high chair or anything. I mean if you are allowing kids may be that could be a plus to have for guest. Otherwise I loved it. Did not stayed more days else it would be more fun.

Fantastic home base for Smoky Mountain adventures

The property was exactly as described, super spacious and clean, plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and lots of fun to be had at the house. It was the perfect location for access to the National Park, as well as the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Will definitely book again in the future!

Our high school basketball team and families stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the cabin.

The cabin is very spacious and there were many things to do. The theater room was great. The games provided hours of fun and laughter. The kitchen and dining area layout made it easy to feed our group of 29. The hot tub was enjoyed by many and the view is amazing. We would highly recommend this cabin and would stay here again.

We plan to come back

This house is on top of a mountain on the East Side of town, about a 5-10 minute drive downtown. The company was easy to work with and the cabin was ready on time, early even. This cabin had lots of room, great kitchen appliances, well stocked. The game rooms are separated on the top and bottom floor but that was nice that there was not just one room of craziness and allowed people to hangout in small or big groups. Our teens from our church enjoyed it. We hope to use this place again!
